    Can anyone please help?

I had my BA on 4th June so I’m now 3 weeks post op. About 10 days ago I developed a pain in my left arm. The only way to describe it is that it is like I have knocked my ‘funny bone’. I’ve got pins and needles running from my thumb up my arm and when I stretch my arm out, I get a really bad burning pain on my wrist like someone is giving me a ‘chinese burn’.

I went to the NHS walk in centre a couple of days after it started and they thought that I’d trapped a nerve due to the BA.

I then phoned MYA, cos it continued, and got an appointment to see Mr Kazzazzi. He thinks I’ve had a reaction to the anesthetic. He hasn’t said how long it will be like this but says to take Ibuprofen.

I’m very worried cos I can’t use my arm properly without it hurting alot.

    Anyone, advice please? x

    DEAR

    jill1980

Im booked in for a consultation for eyelid surgery next week, my greatest fear is having to much upper eyelid skin removed , so that i wont be able to close them at night while i sleep

    jill1980 you say:

I’ve had some bad care from MYA also, with different things,

can i ask what these different things were please, so that i dont fall into the same possible trap?
