Abit miffed about my consultation last Monday :/

So on Monday I saw Mr Traynor about my ba which I’ve already paid the deposit for, he saw me for 10 minutes (instead of half an hour) which felt incredibly rushed and I only got to ask him one question which was about time off work. He examined me and told me I didn’t need a ba because despite me being 32b he thought I looked a C cup He said he’d do the op for me if I still wanted it (which I do) but I can’t help but feel a little bit in the dark about what to do now and I’m even considering going to a different company 🙄

That is exactly what happened to me when I had my consult with him. Was only in there for 5mins, he Jst measured me and wrote in my notes and said that I didn’t need a ba and if I did that I must have ‘issues’ with my body, then put me out the door before I could ask any questions. That put me off having a ba, but then bout a year and a half later I went to the Glasgow clinic and they were all brilliant. Spent bout 45mins with my surgeon, he explained absolutely everything, and he answered all of my questions etc.

Maybe you should go and have another consult with a surgeon. X

How strange. I had Mr Traynor and I can honestly say he was fantastic, gave me as much time as I needed. I can’t speak highly enough of him and his work is amazing

Exactly the same thing happened to me! I travelled 3 hours for my appointment and spent less than 5 minutes with Mr T. He also told me I didn’t need a BA despite the fact that I was only a 34B! I went out of my consultation totally confused but still went ahead and booked my BA because Id heard so many great things about him…….! Had my op last September and biggest mistake ever. Im not happy with my boobs, shape or size!! Just a warning to you that’s all – you have to feel 100% happy with your consultation and in your surgeon. Don’t make the same mistake I did! Take your time and find someone you are comfortable with. GOOD LUCK x

The thing with Mr Traynor is..he is a man of very few words, he is very straight to the point and tells is exactly how it is. I dont think i was with him for 30 mins but he explained everything to me and he is a brilliant surgeon, i wouldnt take it to heart, i think that is just his way of doing things, he knows his stuff and what not.

I also suffer with asymmetry and i explained to him how much it upsets me not being able to wear certain clothes and he said he understood.

I dont think 5 or 10 minuites is enough time for anyone to make such an important decision about a life changing experience,if the surgeon dosent give you enough time then book in with someone else that will give you the time,or go back and see him again,and ask him to answer the questions that need answering,I had a good 40 mins with each of my surgeons and came out feeling confident and informed,you are spending a lot of money,this needs to be right,Good luck honey.

It’s not nice feeling rushed in and out this happened to me at transform.. Booked for my ba with mr. T on the other hand he has been honest least you wherent pressured or up sold other Inplants etc. ask for another consultation he will be fine to see you and answer all your questions xx

I had a consultation with mr Traynor and had booked and paid the deposit for my op before the consultation. However I wasn’t happy with my consultation as he only offered me the smaller implants and I wanted a bit bigger. I called my pc and booked a consultation with Russo and was much happier, I didn’t loose my deposit and my pc was fine about the change. I’m 16 days po and really happy.

If you not happy definitely get a consultation with another surgeon. If your not happy with your boobs why shouldn’t have a BA no matter what size you are. xxx

You must go with your gut instincts everytime. The same surgeon isn’t going to suit us all. We have a choice who to use.

I was the opposite, I didn’t care for Mario at all, very quick consultation, wasn’t impressed walked out and thought, he’s not a prayer of doing my boobs.

What suits one isn’t going to suit another. X x

Thank you everyone for your support and advice! And thank you Mya Mod, I was contacted by my PC and she’s rebooking me another consultation to ask as many questions as I need. This is my first op so as you can imagine I’m quite nervous as it is without the need of feeling rushed. I’m 32b and don’t want to go a great deal bigger I just want too feel abit more curvy and womanly. Thank you again everyone for your support, I feel alot better now I’ve been contacted and read the comments on here.

I have pulled out of my op and I also saw Mr Traynor on Monday, I was in and out super fast and He said go see the girls after and they will try different sizes, that never happened was sent home saying try rice and weight it out. I have paid in full but luckily my PC is sorting my refund as his advice was an uplift and I didnt want this. My PC was not there on Monday as she has been greatv but the rest of them there didnt really give 2 hoots ! x

Ahh bubbles007 sorry to hear that I do hope they sort your refund out! I know what you mean about feeling they didn’t really care, I saw Wanda and she was really nice which made me feel alot better, why not have a chat with your PC about how feel or have you already? x

hi dannii yes I have spoke to her and she understands what Im saying, Im pulling out now dont feel comfortable and I need anouther 2k for the lift aswell. Felt like I was just another figure on there books though xx

that’s a shame but the right thing to do if you’re not comfortable! I hope you can sort it out after you’ve gone through all this trouble x I’m seeing Wanda next week and hopefully see another surgeon for a second opinion, it’s a huge decision to make and you shouldn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable about it xx

danniipxo id see another surgeon hun if you dont feel happy. Remember that its not MYA its the surgeon and i think the surgeons dont just work for MYA but for other companies too. He shouldnt of made the comment about you not needing a boob job because if you thought that you wouldnt be there lol. Good luck whatever you decide to do xx
