I’m not being funny but can MYA keep hold of any of their staff?! First consultation December last year, my PC is Jess – all good so far.
Surgeon consultation in Feb, try to contact her after and then get a txt a week later saying she’s left and Holly will be my new PC. Ermm who is Holly? No introductory phone call or anything. Not like I’m planning something pretty major for myself here!
Another surgeon consultation in March and deposit is paid. A few conversations with Kim and Victoria who to be fair are brilliant, let’s hope they don’t leave too!
Txt last week to get some questions answered, hear nothing back. But then a generic email today saying your PC Holly has left the business and your new PC is Georgina??? Now she is probably lovely but it’s just not the point, you are making a huge decision and I think a bit more care in handling this kind of situation would be a good idea. Rant over x

The same thing kind of happened to me! When I had my first consultation in March my PC was Rose but I recieved an email in April saying that Rose had left MYA and my new PC was a lady called Katie.. She called me to arrange my pre op and was lovely but I had my surgical consultation, my pre op and I still haven’t even met Katie or heard from her since! My op is in 4 weeks hahaha! To be fair I don’t actually mind but I get the feeling this happens a lot with MYA and staff are coming and going all the time xx

Am on my second Pc since having my op towards the end of January. Makes you wonder why there is such a high turn-over of staff at Mya.
