Hi girls,
As a few of you know I was due to have my boob op next wednesday (27th jan) and had my size agreed upon with mr adamo, i could not wait! I have suffered with palpitations in my heart since i was 11 years old and they are very rare and my gp had always put it down to panic attacks! One of the nurses at MYA asked me to get an ECG done just so they could be sure i would be ok to have boob op. Went to heart hospital on monday to what i was expecting to be a 2 minute ecg, only to be diagnosed with Woolfe parkinsons white syndrome! This is where i was born with 2 nerves in heart rather than the normal one and thats why i have palpitations! My gp never even gave me an ECG!!! as you can imagine i was extremly upset but the heart specialist said it would still be safe to have boob op done. However MYA told me yesterday that they really dont want to risk me going under general anethestic until ive had further tests done on my heart!!!
i really respect MYA for their decision because they said my health is more important than anything else, but im absolutely gutted! not only can i not have my boobs done which im so insecure about, but ive also got a heart condition that will probably need surgery on!
have had a few days to cry and now am getting myself sorted so i can deal with the heart thing and then go back to MYA and mr adamo and have my 380cc overs put in after 6 long years of waiting for them!
To all you girls who have spoken to me on this forum thank you so much for all your support and i hope you heal well, and all the pre op girls who are nearly at their special day – good luck!!! (am sooo jealous!)
Lotsa love Lisa xXx
Aw lisa, im sooooo sorry to hear that! At least your problem has been found tho, it could have been worse. Just goes to show Mya are very good and have probably done the best thing for YOU, although it may not seem like it at the moment honey.
Get your heart problems seen to then go back and get the boobies you have dreamed of.
keep well and positive thinking xx
arrh lisa you poor thing! at least you found out sooner so something can be done. on the bright side tho it looks like you will be able to get them done is just a case of when. just consentrate on gettin better and soon enough you’ll have a nice pairs of baps too!!

everything happens for a reason and you where ment to do to that ecg, must be awful but u will get your boobs one day! xx
there right your boobs are no where near important as your health!!
x
Lisa I’m gutted for you! But at the same time I’m very pleased!
Thanks to MYA’s protocol about patient health you have now found out about your heart, are getting that sorted AND are going to get your lovely boobies too
I’m very sorry your gp never felt the need to get you checked out because your issue might have been sorted a long time ago. Perhaps you should go ask why??!! I certainly would! But on that note – I hope the heart surgery goes really well. You’ll be a general anesthetic expert by the time it’s your turn for the ba

Hi lisa. I am really sorry to hear that. But as mya said your health is much more important and you will eventually have the boobs you want
And it will be worth the wait!! I understand you will be upset about this though, but your time will come.

Sorry again for you, but everything happens for a reason. X
Hi Lisa, your well being is sooo much more important and you will still have your new boobs for the Summer. Its so cold you wouldnt have been able to show them off any earlier anyway. Gutted we wont both be at Highgate together on Weds but your time will come around so quick I bet you! Will mail you on Thurs morning when I get home to let you know how it all went. x
