So I’m 3 weeks post op today. Went back to work Tuesday just gone as I’m a domestic cleaner my job is very hands on and Was advise to take 2-3 weeks off work as long as I rested for I’d be fine. Woke up Wednesday morning and I could feel (what I’m guessing) is my implant moving around. It feels so horrible it’s only in my right breast and I’m right handed so now I’m thinking I’ve over done it at work and freaking out that I’ve messed up my recovery process. Has anyone else experienced this kind of feeling before? Any reassurance would be great. I’m scared to move now as ever time I walk or stand up I can feel it it’s awful. xxx

Natalie I think you should contact the Nurse, any issues at all should just check with the nurse, thats what they are there for. They will probably say you need to rest again and let the capsule heal around the implant. But very difficult to take that much time off work. Hopefully you get through to the nurse and double check with her so she can put your mind at rest. Please let us know how u get on. Wishing u all the best xx

Hey @Becki I’m going to call the nurse tomorrow just to put my mind at rest. I just didn’t want to be a complete hypochondriac and freak out over nothing but it’s been happening since the day after I went back to work and I’ve done everything I’m meant to so I heal the best I can so I’ll be gutted if I’ve done something wrong by over doing it at work. I’ll update tomorrow what the nurse says and just to let any other girls know if they are experiencing the same problem. Thanks Hun xxx.

Morning Natalie, thinking of you today and hope your nurse gives you some good advice and reassurance. I didn’t realise myself how long the healing takes. I thought having overs I would be fine after 1 week hahaha no way!!! I am 18 days po and although I feel good, if I do too much they ache and I know I’ve done too much. I really feel for you because with having taken 3 weeks off already, work are not going to be supportive of you having more time off.
Hope every thing okay, I’m sure it will be, the nurse told me at my 2 week check up that it takes minimum of 6 weeks for the capsule to form around the implant ( thats the scar tissue that keeps the implant in place) she said it is VERY important to follow their advice and wear the sports bra for at least 6 weeks ( I was complaining that my sports bra is so tight it must be making my nipples sore, especially wearing it 24/7) she said I am not allowed to take it off, only when going in the shower, then it has to go straight back on.
so I am sure u are, but bake sure you are wearing a very supportive bra to minimize how much they move hun, thats what they told me xxx
