Absolutely gutted – size :(

So 4 weeks post op I have finally started to wear normal tops etc again and standing up straight without hunching. NO ONE apart from my mother has noticed I’ve now got boobs… and she said to me tonight, oh they look about a C, definitely nowhere near a D. I could cry, i really could. £3,650, and a month of pain and inactivity later, and I am no better off that i would be wearing a padded bra!!!!!!!! Tell me WHY surgeons cannot explain to us properly that implants, especially unders, will most likely end up smaller than how they look when we first try them on. And knowing as they do fake breasts measure bigger than they look, why don’t they TELL us this so we can make an informed choice and go bigger (if possible due to breast tissue etc)???

I am so upset, really. I wish I hadn’t bothered having it done. I’ve only gone up one damn cup size. All that for nothing. Don’t get me wrong, I AM bigger than i was before, and I’m sure there’s a lot of clothes that will look better on me now, but I’m not as big as I wanted to be (D/D cup), and nowhere NEAR what I thought I’d end up at smallest. Really, NOT HAPPY!!

I was 5’5, size 10 (9 1/2 stone), 34B. Had 410 and 380cc unders, high profile.

Aww chick I think they look fabulous… Just think a couple more weeks and you can wear better bras and you might feel better then….. They may change more before then too xxx

What size did you get fairy …. I cannot believe how much yours have changed from day 1 too now they are fantastic xx

380hp unders hun. I was completely flat and now a 32f/ff can fit an e in some shops too… They do change loads just gotta be patient my surgeon mr traynor told me it takes upto a yr to see full result of unders as u cant work ur muscle again so it gets thinner and thinner allowing the implant to relax and drop more xx

I’ve just added pics so you can see what I’m talking about. They look wider and rounder but certainly no bigger in any other sense I can’t see me being measured as any bigger than a C cup in 2 weeks when i go to get a fitting. Also my scars are very visible under my breasts and the right breast is clearly oblong shape underneath. You can see in the pic with my top on they still look small. I’m just gutted that there’s hardly any difference, and what i’ve got now I could have achieved with a padded bra. Feeling really, really disappointed. I’ve waited this long to moan about it thoguh because i kept waiting for them to change and now they have, they’ve dropped and softened loads. But they’re so small

U look big!!! And if anyone can help it’ll be fairy. As she says they change SO much and she used to always say they were small (sorry fairy ) I used to be like ‘r u mad’ they will change even more still from now on n I’m sure it’s better when u can wear normal bras again!

By the way I think they look good I think they look big in ur grey bra early on! Loads different to ur b4 pic!! Plus isn’t it nice to know for u that what u have in a bra is all boob n not padding? That what I like knowing honest if I’ve learnt something from fairy it’s to be patient …. But I’m not great at that honestly Hun u look loads bigger and I’m not just saying that xxx

Im no expert hun but looking at your pics, they still look really high and like they will drop quite a bit. Once you get more fullness at the bottom of your boob I think they will appear bigger and go up a cup size. You def look bigger hun xx

chin up by the looks of your profile picture they are much bigger than a C and already looking great, give it a little more time and im sure you’ll be so much happier xx

dude your unders they may take ***WEEKS** to fully pop out, and also you’ll not be wearing nay padding at all at the moment [when I say padding even just the stiff bras with no extra] makes a massive difference believe me!!!

mine took at least 6 weeks to drop properly and they were overs. you just need to be patient hun, I think fairy added a post to the bible explaining the process xx

i’m an old hand at this now it feels and seen many people come and go and the unders always surprise ladies after 6 weeks xx

Aww thanks girls, you have cheered me up a bit. Still not convinced they’re going to get any bigger, in fact today the left one looks more relaxed and even smaller LOL. The profile pic was taken at 2 weeks post op when they looked massive because they were so swollen and square. They’ve shrunk I’ll see what they look like in bras in a couple of weeks and hope for the best.Thanks for your advice xxxx

I’m inclined to agree with Fairy…(still preop, mine in Sept). I was speaking to a friend that had 365 unders in March on Saturday and she said that over the last week they had really changed again and got bigger.

Dont feel down hun. Ur boobies are still new. Just wait until you go and get measured properly. They will still change and unders take longer to settle. Chin up chick x

Thanks hun. Just thinking ab out the fuss I made pre-op thinking 380 would be too big!!! Tsk, wish I’d gone to another surgeon and asked for 525.

hi hun, i also had 410 unders but i was a 34a to start with im only 2 weeks post op but mine change on a daily basis.

i was 34dd leaving hospital then that bra was too big so went down to a d.

few days later i had to buy a 34e sports bra then went back to a d and last 2 days that feels a bit big.

im not worrying tho my friend had unders and hers changed size all the time untill she was 6mths post op and they settled at a dd her stats are the same as mine 5ft8 9st6 and size 8/10.

try not to worry hun give it a while and i bet ull be on here saying how much you love you new boobies. xx

i just looked at ur pics and they look fab lovely shape and theres a big diffrence from pre and post op but i cant talk i think we all want bigger after weve had ba but there is no dobt in my mind they r going to get bigger x x

hun they look great already, and you def look a d at least! and there gona change loads yet – just look at fairys pics, hers have changed loads and look fab now! just give it a bit more time! im 2 and half weeks post op and mine havent dropped at all yet – still really pointy! theyve only got softer – so your looking loads beter than me lol!

i had 360 overs back in 2006 and i really wasnt happy with them, for the first 6weeks they were tiny! i was a 32a before and i swear i was about a C cup, i lived in my sports bra for ages because i hated them. a few months after i got measured by Gossard and i was a 32F!!! mine suddenly exploded out of nowhere. i think when you get into proper bras, and find a bra style that suits you, you will be happy. i’m having mine redone in august because i’ve got scar tissue around my implants, i have to admit i’m going for larger implants though… haha

I’m worried mine not bigger up, But the nurse said they keep reshaping all the time and give itself at least 2 months.

Hun they look huge! They also look like the muscle is still contracting the implants so as you had unders i’m sure they’ll fluff some more. like i said in my other post though you really do need to give it a few months to see the finished results. I thought mine were far too small for ages and i was kicking myself, only now after about three months they’ve settled and got much rounder and they look massive!! Yours will too, seriously just wait they really will look much bigger. When they are much softer you can put them in the best bras that make them look massive too!

I’m so glad i didn’t go bigger and i only had 340s xx
