worst mistake i ever made , im 4mpo and my boobs look awful in every way possible , the longer i leave it the worse they look , nothing is right with them..
they hang too low ( was told i under no circumstances needed an uplift)
there far too close together ( i can hold a sheet of paper between them)
my nipples point inwards ( i have pectus excavatum but was told he is used to this and it wouldnt be an issue)

i am not with mya , i went with another company who have been shocking..took my money and made no contact with me after .. finally after alot of emails they sent me an an appoinment to see my surgeon next month)

does anyone know what went wrong here ????i had 275cc hp unders its not just one thing its everything.,,do you think my surgeon will fob me off ?? im so ashamed of them i paid all that money to feel better and now i feel worse than before.
    (hope pics upload)

thanks everyone , i just dont understand why its gone so wrong..the only thing i can see happening is having to have them removed.. would i get any kind of refund for that ? i just dont see how its fixable with such a small implant

I doubt you’ll get a refund if I’m honest, there won’t be much to give you back after 2 ops as money covers surgery etc but without knowing the terms of your aftercare its difficult to say. Usually with a revision if you want a bigger implant put in you have to pay for the implant, again, not sure if that is the case with your surgeon though x

As bad as you think it is its probably a really simple easy revision procedure that they should do free for u anyway, it looks as if hes overly disected the breasts in the cleavage area so they have gone too close an its made the nipples kind of bozeyed. By moving them just slightly over would solve it an thats an easy procedure same sort of procedure as people have for lateral displacement when they are falling in the arm pit just the oposite way round. Hope they sort it for u but dont panic too much like i say would be an easy fix for you x

Im no surgeon but after watchin botched every week its like they have made the pockets to big which is what the implants sit into so basic the surgeon has made large pockets in both so they basically touch in the middle botched always on there is the main issue makong pockets to big for the implants to sit together with no wall to keep them part them say if you dont get i sorted u will take them to court say u no someone high up in court if i was u ask for a full refund and go else where like mya for them to be corrected !! As u dont want the same surgeon again go get a free appointment at mya to see a surgeon see what they can do for u then once mya surgeon has gave u a price quote go to where u had them done and demand them of the full cost in which it will cost your to have them corrected dont get revision surgery of them .

Defo go see mya as soon as surgeon sees u there they will tell u exactly what that surgeon has done wrong to u and mya is free to see a surgeon worth a shot x

Hi Sarah, first of all just wanted to say im incredibly sorry your post op result has been such a let down for you, may i ask were you strapped after your operation or did you see your results yourself straight after?
If you have pectus excavatum then to some extent your anatomy would have played a role in your BA outcome but the severity of the existing condition should have been taken into account and you should have been reffered to a surgeon withing the group who held the skill set to operate on you, it seems that did not happen. I dont think you should have much trouble being granted a revision, your results are visibly not acceptable and there would be a much better outcome for you in the right hands, your main problem is going to be that you may have to return to theatre with the same surgeon for revision (your original surgeon is the person who is insured for your operation) understandibly this could be a huge cause for concern for you.
This can be caused by scar tissue which pushes the implant medialy but the medial pockets stay in place so it is a totaly different condition to symmastia, but if you feel they were sat in this position immidiately post op then it’s more likely your implants were not properly placed (we can see the centre of the implant is definately not sitting behing the centre of the nipple as it should be) and your pockets were made too generously lateraly causing the implant to push towards the midline and the breasts appear to be what is termed as ‘cock eyed’ im sorry thats such a horrible phrase to descibe it but if you wanted to try and research what has gone wrong that is the description that will lead you to online answers, also creating an account and posting a picture on realself will get you some answers from surgeons. I hope you are not fobbed off and i hope your surgeon is very honest with you about what went wrong and what can be done to put it right, if your next meeting with him does not fill you with any confidence in his surgical ability or give you the direct diagnosis you are looking for then i would advise paying for a consultation with a highly credited surgeon who works privately but also within the NHS, this should cost you around Ā£150 to get a second opinion, you can ask for your findings to be put into a written report if they differ largely from what your own surgeon is telling you, the average length of a medical negligence claim is around 2-4 years so that should be your last resort as that would be a very long drawn out draining process for you. Try to remain positive and hopeful that they will deal with you in the correct manner, may i also ask, after trying to get them to supply you with a post op follow up with your surgeon after you explained your issues did they ask you to email any images into the clinic or to your nurse? xxx

hiya claudine.. he was a specialist in my condition. he said he has done it countless times, just before surgery he said that the lady having surgery before me has a much worse hollow chest than mine ( wish i could see her results).. i have seen the cocked eyes nipple look,, thats exactly why i went with him who assured me that it wouldnt be an issue and i felt extremely confident going to him.. i would probbaly expect my breasts to look like that 10 years from now but not 4 months. im just hoping its fixable with my hollow chest.. thank you x

sorry missed a couple of questions ! i wasnt strapped, the surgeon doesnt use strapping

the surgery actually refused to send me photos , i asked 4 times for them and this is when instead of a response they sent me an appointment date via email to see the surgeon .. which tells me they can clearly see the pics are very wrong ,

Thats a good thing that they can clearly see something wrong an gave you an appointment straight after sending pics. I sent mine over to my surgeon told them i wasnt happy with the result booked an appointment was nervous as hell thinking hes going to say its fine an not do anything etc. Got there an he agreed straight away an said yeah u need revision. Could be just as easy for u x

So sorry i didn’t realise he was a specialist with that condition! It’s the first one of your post’s ive read, taken that into account then it’s even more upsetting that you have had to badger them for an appointment when you are so worried this is down to your condition, they really should have been trying to reassure you until they could arrange a follow up not ignoring you, i hope you get some answers soon, take care Sarah xxx

@sarahthecarer oh my goodness, Iā€™m so sorry that youā€™ve come out of your surgery with these results. Iā€™ve seen you post on this forum for a long time and have kept one eye on your journey as you do with the ladies on here – Iā€™m really sad that youā€™re so unhappy. I hope your surgeon acknowledges that there is a probably and you get the necessary revision to correct this problem. Donā€™t let them dismiss you and keep us updated, lots of love xxx

Hopefully he will be able to offer you reassurance as to what he can do to solve and tell you what went wrong. Iā€™m surprised you na have to pay anything as clearly there mistake. But whatever happens as long as they can fix, like others Iā€™d rather a refund to go elsewhere, although mya wouldnā€™t be my choice as Iā€™ve read to many complaints of their after care. I hope you get the results you want and Iā€™m sure I read second time healing is much quicker and less painful xx
