Acrylic nails on the day of procedure

Hey girls I have had acrylic nails on now for ooooohhh the last 5 years – anyone know if these need to come off on the day of surgery????

I think they do have to come off.

I think the reason behind it is that they need to be able to see your natural nail bed incase you go blue! Horrible thought I know but thats why no nail varnish on either fingers on toes x

Yeah I just had to cancel my appointment to get my gel nails infill cause its 2 days before my oPp xx

thanx girls better start planning now then have the soaked off and getting them put back on post surgery x

I was told by a nurse on my medical that I can keep them on but take all nail varnish off my fingers and toes,. If you go blue they can see on toes too I think. I’m not taking my ones off

I heard you can keep them on just removed nail vanish also xx

I was told that anything that wasn’t real had to come off – nails, false eyelashes and even hair extensions – i’v had my nails on for as long as i can remember and hated being without them but i wanted my new boobs more and wasn’t taking any chances! I had them put back on a week later x

I think I’ll go for the safe option and just remove them…….. after all will need a new set of nails to go with the new set of boobs x
