actually had enough now!!!!

sorry girls to have a moan but anyone else had crap services with mya or just me from day one,has got to the point now iv really had enough!!!! i pay nearly 4grand for this kind of treatment and i dont think its right,hope you girls have a better time and i cant fought the surgeon at all cause hes done a good job but everything else so dissappointed in.

one boob looks and feels like its going to pop,marks that may scar from tape being on tight down my side,not saying im booked in,no answer from nurse,no aftercare advice,nothing!!!! sorry to rant on just i had waited so long and sooo not happy and in pain. xxx

Oh huni Have you rang your pc? When was your op? The tape leaves some awful marks but it does fade darlin. ((hugs)) xxx

jeeeeeez girllll NOT good! You know they have an open-door policy? I think you should just march into the clinic and DEMAND to be seen….

hey girls will be 2weeks on sunday,nope tried calling all i get is she will call u backyeah still waiting!!!went on mon to have tape off gotta go back for 6 week could i call and arrange an app as the calender only goes to feb 10th,ummm like thats my prob how about you call me for once.im so angry with the company dnt worry girls dont let it scare u or nething like that this is typical my luck lol.my right boob is so painful and inflamed its getting worse and all i get is call back saturday!!!!1 aghhhh and your right bexepie i will end up marching in there haha xx

Arghhh! I emailled my pc over the weekend & had no reply, although nit sure if she tried to call at 5pm today & I missed it!! I had confo via email two days ago for my initial appointment back in Dec, letter came through with wrong details & had to ring up & email to book my pre-op with the nurse!!! Starting to get nervous now & no idea what will happen at the pre-op….. Just hope everything else will run smoothly xxx good luck

Not good Telle, hope you get it sorted soon….What is it thats the problem can you describe it? Just wondering if your like me…..im 7 days post op n my left boob is a lot slower at settling compared to right. Moving my left arm makes it hurt my boob as does coughing n sneezing on that side too. Im not needing painkillers as i find it managable.

What i am finding is keeping movement goin in that arm every now n then throughout day helps it and stops it from getting any stiffer etc.

I was also told that coz my frame is petite n i have had unders that my recovery is a little like 2 days behind n will take longer but perfectly normal. xxx

hey babe, have you been provided the 24 hour emergency number on the yellow card you were given?? they are pretty good. i am so sorry to hear this. i have never had a issue or heard of anyone being treated like this, but i had a really good nurse who even answered her phone late at night for me cause i was worried.

Just to let you know i also had one boob more painful,bigger and swollon than the other this lasted till 3 weeks post op. this is totally normal as you breast tissue is getting used it being in there….but defo call your nurse and PC. if not, march in there as this is quite unusual for MYA….never heard this before. Transform have this kind of reputation but not MYA. I hope you get it sorted soon….

hey cherry,my right one is so much bigger than left and in pain with it my left has softened but right is big feels like its on fire and the slightest knock makes it worse.the nurse got surgeon to look the other day and if still worse gotta call back sat,iv tried calling and shockkkk no reply back.i know its not even been 2weeks and each boob is diff but i just cant seem to take anything that helps the pain and cause its so hot and a constant pain worries me more.just upsetting when you have a major op and think aftercare is there to help and when u want some advice or reassurance nothing.never mind il give it 2more days see how it is if the same il be paying mya another visit!!! hope u feel better hun xxx

hey north3c thank you,i know im so gutted cause i thought mya were known for such a good reputation and i chose them over mya. yeah i called that number and no answer.my luck hun lol always me haha, thank you for ur info and advice im going to see how it settles in the next 2days if not marchingi go xxxx

ps girls for u waiting to have op dont let this scare you plz this is just my luck,and seems like most girls have had brilliant support from mya.like i said the surgeon was fab and i am pleased i had it done just not exactly how the turn out would be. enjoy ur new boobs and good luck xxx

Oh telle sounds like your having a bad time of it. I symphaphise especially when you come on here and you read storys of women doing a deep clean to their house trhe day after!! N you think WTF lol. Evey case different but if you in that much pain then ring back n say you need stronger pain relief n need reassurance that nothing wrong etc. You paid them for it so they have to deliver. Guess thats the worst thing too knowing you paid all that money to feel like shit!! Really hope you turn a corner soon hun xxx

Hi Telle, that’s not good for sure. If the pain is burning it may be an infection so if i was you i would go and see your GP if you still can’t get hold of anyone. Better that you are told it’s fine than it is an infection and it gets worse!!

Out of curiosity, are you both at the same clinic – I never experienced anything at all bad – I was at the Leeds one, hope you get sorted soon xx

Hey hun, you need to push this i’d say. You’re at holborn aren’t you? I booked my 6 week apt on Wednesday when i went in, for 24th feb, so i think that’s rubbish about the calendar not going that far. If i was you, i’d call the main number, not the one associated with a clinic, i think it’s an 0845 number? see if you can speak to someone on there, make a complaint and ask to see your surgeon again if you are not happy. You must be able to if you are stil concerned. Or like Ros said, go to your GP, i know MYA say dont go to your GP go to them but if they are not helping you need to be seen, becuse you need this weight taken off your mind and your doc may be able to give you stronger pain killers. I really hope you are ok xxxx

Hi girls, hope all well, nurse called me this morning she’s really nice and was unaware of any of the problems iv been having trying to contact etc, dr k is there tomorrow I’m hoping I can get there but it’s getting someone to have my little boy and I def can’t take him!!! Been docs for stronger pain killers so going to see how I get on with these, hope your healing well xxx

i was at manchester and my nurse emma was fantastic. I had to call the emergency nurse. She was really helpfull. Then emma the nurse called the next morn to check on me. She even told me to come down the same day if i wanted which i did. Then emma txt me a few times after to check up. Plus my pc rang me a few times after my op to see how i was. I really couldn’t knock them. Sorry your having trouble. Give emma a ring hehe x

i hope u get everything sorted hun crnt believe uve been treated this way i think it may be different clinics bcuz the people at newcastle has been fab had my op yesterday and already had a fone call last nite and 2 today i think u should demand to see yur pc we spend so much money on new boobs u deserve the best possible treatment!! xxx
