Admission Time :D

Hey Ladies,

It’s 6 days until my op and I’ve just received my admission time of 7am and I couldn’t be happier. I asked my PC for an early time back when I booked my op in July and she said to email her a week before my op reminding her of the request as that’s when the hospital schedule the admission times, so I did and I got it! 😀

I would recommend anyone else wanting an early or late admission time to speak with your PC and even if they don’t ask you to remind them, do it anyway.

My op is on Monday (7th) 😀
Have you not? I received mine by email yesterday. I would speak with your clinic just in case the email that you should have received wasn’t sent or went into your junk mail.
My admission time is 7am. Starting to feel real!

Definitely check your mail and give them a call.
God I hope I don’t freak out when I’m there. I’m pretty calm now but don’t want nerves to build up and pop up on the op day! Xx

Hi Girls, I am booked at Preston on 7th Nov and have just got my admission time. I have got 8am 🙂 I am soooo excited but nervous at the same time haha x

On the plus side if your a day case I think you’ll be seen to really quickly as they have to get you out the same day so hopefully not much waiting around at hospital. Waiting at home will be more relaxing than at the hospital as people with earlier admission times tend end up waiting quite a long time for their op.
As you could spend 4 hours in recovery, in theory the latest you should come out of your op should be something like 7:30/8pm and seeing as the op can take 1hr – 1hr 30mins then hopefully you’ll go down around 6/6:30pm which isn’t too bad.
