Had my admission time today for 8am next tuesday. does anybody know what time i’m likely to be then having my op? can’t wait. it seems more real now i’ve had my time. x
My admission time for Friday is 7am so I hope I get done in the morning! I hate waiting I am very impatient lol xx
I feel like that too. Just want it over with once i’m in the hospital. x
I Dont Think They Leave You Waiting That Long As You Haven’t Eaten Or Drank. Well i hope They Dont lol xx
My admission time next tuesday is 9am and she said id more than likely have it at about 10.30am, wheres ur op? X
i had an admission time of 7.30 and went down to theatre at 11, it depends whereabouts on the list you are x
thanks girls. hope they don’t keep me too long, i’ll be starving! i’m going to highgate with dr chantarsak (think that’s how you spell it). do you know how they make up the list? is it who booked first or whose will take the longest or something? x
I was admitted at 11.30am on Tuesday 26th June and went down for surgery with Dr Chantarasak at 3.30pm! I hadn’t eaten since the night before and last had water at 9am and felt horrible all day
I wasn’t given any answers all day, I just kept getting told “not long now” for four hours, and then I was kept in for five and half hours after the op, so I was in hospital for 11 hours
I’m not a patient person either so make sure you force yourself to eat and drink right up until the 6 hour ban otherwise you’ll be regret it lol and take stuff to keep you entertained in case you are waiting for ages! xxx
my admision time was 7.30 and I was down by 10.45. Good luck. Im going for a re-op on 13th July hopefully so heres hopeing.x
Hope I’ll be quick. Why do you need a re-op? I’m reading on here lots need re-op? Is this normal? Starting to panic. X
Hi hun I have just had a re op last week but please don’t worry! I’ve worked it out like this, say there’s an average of 10 ba’s per day across all the hospitals, that makes 1400 a year but I’ll say 1000 just in case thats a bit much. In the last year and a half I have been on the forum I have seen no more than about 10 ladies having re ops so that’s 1% of cases. I know a lot have seemed to happen the last few weeks but like I say try not to worry! The way I see it is Mya is a great company with great surgeons who care abut the result they give their patients. I’m sure there’s lots of companies who would have sent me on my way but that’s what sets them apart! So basically the odds of you having to have a re op is really low, but if by some small chance everything doesnt go exactly as it should then at least you know it will be sorted. I am so glad I had my ba even with having to have it twice lol and I am very glad I went with Mya xx
Aww glad it’s all ok now. I’m so excited though. Not very organised, only just booked my hotel & train. X
