Hi was just looking for some advice I’m having BA surgery on Tuesday, I also have a hair appt (been booked for months) on the Thursday. Anybody that’s had the procedure what do u think I should do, will I be ok to sit and have my hair done or should I just cancel the hair appt. please any advice welcome. I’m not sure on how badly the pain is will be 2/3 days later xxx

Hiya – i’m day 2 and there’s no way i could sit in a chair for any length of time. Can’t even stand up straight and get really breathless. But everyone is different x

Hi. I’m 2 days post op and no way I could go to the hairdressers. Struggling to move about and when I do it’s very uncomfortable and sore. Everyone is different but I’d maybe ask to rearrange for a later date. Xx

Personally I would have been able to, I went round to a friend’s 2 days post op. I was tired afterwards but you might be ok if you take pain killers before hand. Everyone is different x

If your having unders I would say no way, I just wouldn’t risk it. but from what I hear with people who had overs then maybe. Some people with overs have such a speedy recovery. If your having unders you might not even be able to get to the hairdressers let alone sit in the chair never mind lean your body back to have the hair washed. Everyone is indeed so different. I would cancel if I were you. You just can’t say how your going to feel.

I would arrange it for a later date if I were you. I’m 4DPO now I walked from my flat to the building front door (less than a minute walk no stairs) to let my friend in at 2DPO and I was so out of breath and ended up in pain because of it xx

It depends on how you feel after. I would of had no problems going to the appointment but I recovered really well xx
