advice for the big day! (26th ! eee)

hiya just wondering if anyone can provide me with further information for the day of the procedure – whats the typical process when i get to the hospital etc (am going highgate) Would be great to hear a few of your experiences from a patient point of view ! thanks! xxx

I was at highgate 4 weeks ago, room 315. The hospital is spotless and the staff are very friendly. I had to fill out a form at reception and then I was taken to my room. The nurse came to see me not long after and asked me a few questions, gave me the gown, stockings and paper knickers. Had to do a pregnancy test. The anaesthetist came to see me and explain what would happen and then Dr Singh came to see me, confirmed size and took photos. Then I waited to be taken to surgery. I loved the whole experience x

I’m the 26th too with Mr Singh! Feel so nervous does anyone else ? My tummy goes all funny wen I think about it! Lol. I haven’t got my admission time yet but my PC hollie said she’ll ring me 2mo , or I may receive it in the post 2day or 2mo! I’m a daycase, but staying at a near by hotel! Xxx

I went in yesterday and the best piece of advice I was given my the nurse at the clinic was to take a pillow to dose in the car on the way home, I didn’t use it to sleep but I popped it between my valuables and the seat belt to make the journey more comfy – it was a god send!!! Hope all your ops go well xxx
