I’m wanting to buy a MACOM bra and just wanting advice really. As I’ve heard from some girls that because of your swelling you often go up in inches (ie, if you’re a 32, you swell to 34). Has this been the case for most people?

I’ve just measured my chest (under me boobies) and I’m 30″ so I’m reckoning on buying a 32″??

Also, has anyone bought a white MACOM bra? The black ones look nicest but I need white for when I wear white tshirts and I’m worried incase they’re a bit see through. Knowing my luck, I’ll turn it grey as soon as I’ve put it in the wash anyway.

Hi hunny. I am currently 1 week post op and I am using a macom bra. I measured 30/32 so I bought a 34 and it fits fine it’s all stretchy so it expands with your swelling and comes down with it too. I also bought a white one as I have to wear a white shirt for work, plus if my wounds or anything change I can see it easily through my bra rather than having to take it off all the time, hope this helps x x

Not a problem my love, and my advice is buy everything as early as possible…a mad dash isn’t what you need before your op…trust me ;) xx

Being a shopaholic helps! I’ve got nearly everything on my list and I’m now looking for random unnecessary things to buy, just incase! It all adds to the excitement! x

I’ve bought a white one and a black one! Never bought such an expensive bra in my life! But if I’m living in them for 6 weeks, it will be worth it.

    Hi Hun,

I am 2 weeks post op and had an uplift and 360cc low profile unders.

I bought 2 Macom Bras – instead of being bandaged up, like I thought – I was told to take me sports bra down to surgery as this would act as my bandage! So glad I bought a good quality sports bra!

Choosing the size is difficult as I am usually a 34 but was told to get a 36 (large). It is a little big and dont think there is much difference between the sizes but it is definatly worth the money. They are fine about you sending it back tho cause I go medium first and sent them back for the large.
