Advice needed about having stitches out and spray tan!!!

I had my BA on Sat, everything went really well and I feel well in myself, not really sleeping but thats a different story! I havent seen my other half for the past 2 weeks as he has been away with work. He is back on Wed night and was planning on getting a spray tan so I look my best! Only prob is im not having my stitches out until Tues. I was thinking of having a spray tan on Tues morning before I go to get the stitches taken out as I will still have those bigger dressings / plaster things on. Then I can have a PROPER shower on Tues evening and should hopefully look good for Wed! Does anyone know if your allowed to have a proper shower the same day you have your stitches out? I hope so its driving me mad not being able to have a proper shower!

You should be ok to shower a week after your op hun so long as you use very mild soap/ shower gel. I wouldn’t tan though. I was told to wait at least 4 weeks and then make sure my scars were covered up. They won’t be healed enough to cope just yet and you could introduce bacteria.
