I’m having my BA in Oct but I really want to lose some weight before I do. I never lose it from my boobs so that doesn’t worry me.
You gorgeous ladies on here have any tips? I’m pretty cautious about what I eat and was told u don’t eat enough at one point. I go to bootcamp 5 mornings a week and been trying to be healthy by eating more but the right things. Thing is I’ve gained 4lb!! I wanted to lose it not gain!
What has worked for u??
Diet chef. I did it for 1 month and I lost 8 pounds. X
wow 5 days a week at bootcamp!! i suppose your building muscle really and thats why your putting on not losing.
I think running is the best and i don’t mean running for 1hr non stop (i could never do this) but i run for 5 walk for 2 or 5 then run for 5 again etc for half hour and thats the only thing that seems to make me lose weight xx
I go to slimming world and i am in my 5th week. In 4 weeks i lost 11 and a half pounds. I still have just under a stone to lose by oct/nov for when i have my op! xx
Try the Maxitone Sculptress Diet Plan with a calorie controlled diet and regular exercise
Get up an hour earlier each day, start your metabolism, you will be surprised what a difference it make, and have smaller portions of what you are eating,if your still hungry fill up with water.xxx
I needed to lose 7lb in two weeks in time for my op! I made it to 5lb. I was drinking water going to the gym. I drank a protein shake after the gym then just ate bananas. High energy. It worked for me ! I’ve put it back on post op but Hoping it’s mainly bloating and the implants that are the weight gain
If you have a phone with apps get MyFitnessPal. Its free and really keeps you on track of your calories. You have to be honest when adding your food and drinks. It’s scarey how many calories you really eating.
I agree that running is probably the best for weight loss but it is hard work and you need to push out of your comfort zone. Also do some heavy weights – great for fat burning
the boring old story of eating three healthy meals a day (especially a good breakfast), regularly exerising and not snacking works the best for me xx
I’m going to eat soup for nearly every meal next week as I put on weight soo easily & don’t want the general anaesthetic to make me even bigger!!
I heard that soup is good as it’s filling & contains all your vitamins but most are low cal. Would be better with a loaf of crusty bread though!!How much are you hoping to lose chellebelle? x
Thanks lovely ladies, I’m going to start running again I think and try all ur advice
Laracroftminx, I have MFP and it’s scary just how little I was eating! Sometimes my net calories were 800 and that’s why I’m not losing weight. Soni started eating properly and have gained!
Katiejo87, I’d like to lose 10lb at least xx
im so depressed that now my job’s changed i dont have time for the gym between work and looking after my daughter. since having to quit the gym (which i loved!) i have put on a stone!! gutted. no matter what im eating i cant seem to shift the weight at all
Soup isn’t necessarily good as because it is liquid the body doesn’t have to work hard to break it down! Chunky soup may be better. Homemade even better as wont have any shite preservatives or additives. Good luck with it x
eat little and often, low carbs and drink lots of water.
i put on lots of weight recently and was baffled because i train alot and dont eat that much. i was also suffering with bloating alot.
the doctor told me i had IBS. i take fibre gel everyday and also i find certain foods can make me bloat and gain weight. i stay away from gluten and fizzy drinks, the weight is coming off quickly now.
its worth testing for food intolerences xxxx
I cut out carbs and lost 16lbs in 5 weeks! Xx
i did weight watchers from home, i bought some books and one them calculators for £15 of ebay…….done for 5months lost 2st 7lbs
im 5,8 and 10st 9 now so healthy weight but i still feel porky and want to try and loose more weight but after easter i had chocolate and basicaly couldnt stop now i cannot get back on my diet
havent put any weight luckily as i am careful with what i eat, i just find it easier to eat same as kids and partner. what i liked about weight watchers is that you can STILL eat normal foods but you have to count it in points (you all probably know that alreay lol) but some foods i can eat like pasta i just have to have alot smaller portions than what id usualy haver to fit it in that diet.
best of luck huni
xx
Thanks boots. I have been a gold member at WW now for 10yrs and although I’m under my original goal I think I could still do with losing some despite everyone else saying I don’t! When my boobs look fab the rest of me needs to swell
Alicemh, that sounds like me totally! I was diagnosed with IBS 10years ago and PCOS 6 yes ago. I have battled To maintain my weight all these years but must lose some now. I train hard and like u I wasn’t over eating. I can’t eat bread except rye and find that products containing yeast make me worse. I have Colon Hydrotherapy to help me too! Is there anything inparticular u have noticed helped u?
Indulgebeauty, what do u eat then hun?
chellebelle.. ye i always eat a grapefruit first thing and drink lots of green tea.
i used to drink lots of fizzy water and diet coke but that was making me worse so have cut out fizzy drinks.
there are so many hidden carbs in vegetables you dont even need things like pasta and white bread for a healthy balance diet.
i just eat things like sweet potatoe and quinioa instead which are yummy.
