Advice on disapproving perants

Hi ladies, I told my mum about the surgry and she is been supportive however she insisted on telling my dad and he’s gone crazy saying I’m not having it done even though I have saved up my own money and have thought about this for a long time. Now it’s putting doubts in my mind. Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation?

Hi!!! My parents were the same and I am nearly 29, I just told them exactly how my old boobs made me feel I said if the seen they would understand. Luckily that was enough & they didn’t want to see they totally understand now!!

Hey! my mum didnt get it either and kept trying to talk me out of it, she then came to my 1st consultation with me and When they asked me how long I had thought about it for I ended up breaking down crying and was like forever. From then on she has been supportive, still saying that she doesn’t want me to have it but is saying she will stay over night with me in hospital and being very supportive. sometimes you just need to involve them and they will be fine x

Im not even telling mine! The will see at Xmas the next time we catch up! It’s crazy but I know they will say waste of money etc but I always say if you know something will make you feel better then do it!
