    Hey girls, got my op 15th 2.35hrs away im stopping in a hotel nearby but wondered if any of you have tips on traveling home, i’l be going in my mam and dads car, a lap belt isn’t an option will i be allowed (legally) to not have my seatbelt on or does it not hurt tooooo much or should i put a cusion btween me and the belt? just want to be as comfy as possible, it wont help that im travel sick too lol. thanks xx

    oh no ur joking! I did a 3 hour journey the next day after my op. Not sure about legalities but I wore a seatbelt but had a duvet on top of me so it wasn’t really touching my boobs. It was absolutely fine… Hope this helps. Good luck! x

    Legally yes u still have to wear a seat belt.

    I also have a 2.5 hr trip home, plan to have v pillow round neck and on to my chest woth belt over it.

    aw ok thanks guys, was hoping you’d say i didn’t have to wear one, i’l take a cusion with me, i’m hoping to take some medicine for travel sickness which should knock me out too, xx

    Ha, i have been thinking the same, i would not go anywhere with out the seat belt tho. But 2 hours drive home, dreading it. Its bad enough knowing i have to stay in a hotel, but 2 hour drive, ouch. Im taking my v pillow, so am hopeing that will help, think i will dose up on painkillers a few hours before hand,lol.     I travelled for hour and half,I was totally fine wearing my seatbelt it didn’t hurt atall xx
