I saw Dr G yesterday and im confident he’s going to give me an amazing surgery!! I want it done in Sept but can’t afford to have it done til Dec as I won’t have saved enough til then! I feel disgustingly sick at the thought of waiting til then…i think waiting til Sept is too long!!

ANYWAY! Do you think I could get the interest free loan or am I too young? I’m desperate to do this as if I have op in Sep, my 21st is in Nov so ill have money to pay off loan xx

in all honesty hun, you can get all types of credit at 18, so if you can go down that road, do it, but pay the loan back, as bad credit is awful, its as bad as having no credit.

hope you think long and hard hun, and get your boobies soon xx

An interest free credit card might work for u. U could pay low payments for the months before u get your money then pay it off in one lump some with np charges. I would obviously have to make sure your credit limit was high enough to cover procedure though xx

I think if you have a decent deposit to put down you should be OK. And if you can’t get the finance, maybe consider putting the rest on a 0% interest credit card. Like joannabella said though, just make sure you make the payments because it’ll boost your credit rating but if you miss any, it will completely ruin it xx

I paid just under 2 grand from my savings and for the rest I applied for an M&S credit card which is 0% interest for 15 months so basically you’d have 15 months to make payments before they start charging interest but best to try and pay a little above the minimum payments. The only thing is, with M&S, they were unable to tell me my limit until I’d been accepted so I was worried it wouldn’t be enough to cover the rest of the cost but it turned out to be £4000 xx

Oh okay, so say I spend £4000 on M&S card…do I have to pay that back by the next month or can I spread the costs? xx

Nooooo hun, you’d pay it off monthly. My minimum payments are about £70 per month. You’d try and pay it off in your 15 month interest free period as after that, m&s would start charging you interest. But if i havent paid mine off in 15 months, rather than starting to pay interest after this time I’ll be doing a balance transfer to another 0% interest card and just transfer the remaining balance onto the new card so I avoid interest :) xx
