just had my dressing taken off today by the nurse. the scars look fantastic… really please with em…. I explained to her that past two days the boobs have felt bruised and tender like the swelling coming out and that my right is slightly more swollen than the left. she said to keep my eye on it as swelling should start to subdue now and they should start to drop??? subdue NOW??? the swelling has only just really started over past couple of days. they feel like they’re expanding…for those of you that have breastfed, it feels like my milk has come in??… She didnt notice the swelling, its not that overly obvious (if you see pics) so she had a good feel around and said everything felt ok… but if they still hard or other swells noticably more or doesnt subside that im to call and it may mean that mr kazzazi has to have a look cause a ceratin condition (cant remember name) that is quite common and can lead to having fluid drained?

I just feel like i havn’t been guided all that great. Feel always so rushed out of MYA…. just a tad worried. please tell me if this is normal. Day 7 post op! x

Charlie, my boobs have felt like that since day 1 and I’m day 5 post op today! If anyone asks me what they feel like I say engorged like when you have ur baby and they swell and go rock hard! My right is worse than my left and to make things worse I’ve over done it today and now I’m a little worried. I have to travel to London on Monday to see the nurse x

Hope u do feel better soon and it does subside. Last thing you want is more drains! xxx

let me know how you get on… these BA’s are not as straight forward as you’d like to hope, are they lol… mmmmmmm. i got my appointment for start decemeber. she didnt seem overly concerned, but she didnt reassure me either. Just that if one continued to stay harder than the other or swelling didnt subside. but, surely it is normal for them to feel tender and bruised?

Hey hun, I would say mine felt swollen until about 2 weeks, when I pressed my breast bone in my cleavage I had a ‘spongy’ (gross) sensation which the nurse said was normal and due to the swelling. That was gone by about 2 weeks p.o, however your boobs wont look/feel anywhere like the finished items till week 6 at the earliest..even then that’s early. Mine throbbed when I walked or felt any motion until about 3 weeks or so. Dont forget, unders are more invasive than overs and your body has had a shock..it’s frustrating but give your body time to heal. xx
