Advice on steri stips please xxx

Hi girls hope all you lovely ladies are well!
I had a week check up on wednesday and the nurse applied steri stips I am she said I should remove them two days after?
It was a very emotional day and I just cant be clear on what she said
Could anyone offer me some advice?

When I had my one week check my nurse said my incision was still slightly open on one end and I got told to keep my strips on for 4 days then to peel them off slowly then I can have a proper shower, don’t wash the wounds but let the soapy water run down onto them to clean them. Then with a clean towel pat the incisions dry 🙂 hope this helps 🙂 xx

I am going to be terrified for the first time :s I dont have a shower, do you think it would be okay to use a sponge in a shallow bath
Just dont want to mess these up ahhhhhhhhh so nerve wrecking lol. I rang the emergency helping the nurse was so lovely and just repeated what you said
