So I’m just past 12 wpo and my left breast is still WAYYY higher than the right…ove tried being patient and hoping it would even out but it just isn’t. Please tell me this isn’t right and I’m not just going mad? The right one looks so natural and I can feel the implant at the bottom sort of like it’s in the base of the breast where as the left is all tissue at the bottom as if the implant is high up. I don’t know what one is right and what one isn’t anymore but I know this isn’t right…Advice would be wonderful xx

I could of written this post 6 months ago (infact i think i did lol) excact same issue for me as what u have written! Right implant all the way into the bottom of my breast left never was. Everyone said it would change in time an to be honest they did even up more at around 10 weeks id say, but i still had the empty space at the bottom of the left breast even once the implant had settled. Then after they started evening up i think i must of got a contracture because it then went high and tight, not saying that will happen to u. But im having revision surgey in a few weeks for it. I knew from really early that something wasnt right an kept telling my surgeon about this empty space but because they looked satisfactory he wasnt really interested it was only after it went hight an tight that he agreed the revision so i dont think id of got it if it wasnt for that. But like i say it did start evening out eventually but even when they looked more alike it was the feel of the bottom that drove me insane. I hope it does settle for u, did u have textured or smooth implants xx

I had textured babe, I’m convinced there’s a contracture in the left too, I get pains in it quite a lot whereas ive never had in the right. The left has always sat higher and some days it looks worse than others but it’s higher and tighter like you say and definitley former than the right. Who was your surgeon? I haven’t even had my 3month check yet as my surgeons books are full but my nurse was aware at 6 weeks of the issue with my left but assured me it would drop but it just isn’t x

Yeah mine was like that hollie, im 6 months post op next week an id say its really become more noticable in the last month. My left was always higher with the empty space even when it seemed to settle abit but now my left as gone alot firmer than the right an the implant as really rode up tight. Hope you dont end up the same but sounds exaclty what i have had to the T xx

At least you told them at your 6 weeks an they are aware of it i did aswel an even at my 3 month one but he just said it was fine just taking longer to drop. But textured dont drop they stay where they are placed an thats what i couldnt understand about it. But anyway i emailed pictures an told them i was really unhappy an luckily they got me in straight away the next day an agreed with me offered revision xx
