advice post op ladies…..

im 3 months coming up 4 post op and still getting alot of aches and pains in my boobs especialy after had a normal bra on all day. anyone else had pain this far after or should i ring the nurse?

also im scared sleeping without a sports bra on keep thinking my boobs will sag lol. whats peoples recomendations sleeping with or without sports bra?

Hi Nicola, So your still wearing a sports bra at night??? Oh no! I’m only 4 weeks post op and already its doing my head in!! I even told the nurse at my post op check that I’ve had to take it off at night and bedtime as it was doing my head in that much.. She said this would be fine as long as I was doing anything else other than just sitting there or sleeping! Its not as uncomfy now so I’m wearing it more but the thought of having to wear it for another 2 months has depressed me as I thought I only had another 2 weeks to go!!

i never wear it during the day wear normal bras but im scared the implants will be too heavy for my skin and make my boobs sag haha so still been wearing it some nights, thats probs not the case thou and im probably fine to sleep without it lol

Hey Nichola im about 10 weeks post op now and have been wearing a normal bra since 6 weeks, i occasionally wear a sports bra for bed when im feeling a little bit achey (like if ive been excersising or decorating) but the rest of the time i dont rlly bother, i like to wear a vest top style jarmi top as i dont rlly like them hanging free lol x

hi am just coming up 5 months and still get a dull ache somedays but only in my left boob im left handed so mybe this has something to do with it,i still wear sports bra for bed,on holiday i didnt wear a bra at all for 2 weeks apart from bedtime and i wore a soft cotten bra,dont know why but i feel better wearing a bra for bed.

Hi Im 7 months post op and still wear a sports bra at night and a non wired one during the day but only for work. I was advised to do this and im sure because i am still doing it is why they look so mega and not sagging at all also i had lots of pain up to about 3 months so dont worry and even now now and again get a few aches apparently it can up to a year for them to settle down which is why i was advised to wear the bras like i am

Where did you all get your sports bra’s from?? I got mine from asda but I dont think it feels like its giving me enough support…. I dont want mine to sag …. xx
