After having my pre op with nurse today, abit worried…

Mr K told me i would be ok to pick up my 5 1/2 month old after 2 weeks but the nurse has told me 4 weeks!!!!!! My husband is taking 2 weeks off but cant take 4 off.. i will have mum / sis / nan on hand etc but not all day and i will have to (and want to!) pick her up!

Just wondered if there are any new mummys with new boobies on here who can give abit of advice? Im going under the muscle…

hey iv got my op in 4 wks and have a 1 year old…. my sergeon sed 2 or 3 weeks will be fine to pick her up and so did the nurse.xx

thats what Mr K and my PC said… i think she was just been over cautious. Been able to pick my daughter up is the only think im nervous about!

i have 10 month old twins ive been picking them up and im only 2 weeks post op.i didnt the first week dont think i would have been able to but now i can pick them up fine even carried them both to the car today so im sure u will b fine just be careful x

I think we are all different hun, i came home and did everything I did before op, cleaning, picking up my children, we all heal different but steer on caution and give it a couple of weeks. x

Hi I’ve a 13mth old n had my op 23days ago. I started picking him up aft a wk but just to sit on my knee as I found it difficult to carry him. My bf works away n went bk on day 11 so had to do everything from then. I was ok but found putting him in cot hard for couple of days x

Thank u girls.. It’s not the pain that bothers me, I just don’t want to upset the implants after paying all that money!!

i have a 0ne and a half year old and have only booked a week off wrk my partner isnt having any time off with me my mates are coiming to help but no one had told me i wont be able to pick her up i assumed if i wud be ok to go bk to wrk after a week i wud be ok with her at home shit what am i going to do my op is in 6 days xx
