after surgery????

my surgery is on a friday, so booking a hotel for the thursday but will i be ok to be driven home after? i live in birmingham but having my op @ highgate??

I found it hard to drive and change gear at one week post op it hust so much, so i would no way of been able to drive straight after plus your insurance would be void coz of the anesthetic, your be so out of it you wont be in any fit state to drive! you will need some one else to drive you home x

i did not drive til day 6 x it was hard changing gears … as above also check with your insurance too xx dont recommend driving hun u will be in no fit state

I drove today at 5days PO – I was fine, but I would definitely not suggest driving so early on – I would wait at east a few days as you will feel rather restricted regarding movement with your upper body and it will be dangerous hunni. Plus going over bumps hurts a little Good luck with the op xx

i thought your meant to stay within 30minutes of the hospital straight after ur op?! x
