after the op advice

i know i’ve asked a similiar question recently, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me whether they’d think id be okay to go to a festival at the end of august if my op is on the 20th of june. i was just thinking due to cleanliness and stuff if anyone had any thoughts i’d be extremly grateful xxxxx

Hiya hun, I had my op at the end of May last year and went to a festie in July. Just take it easy, don’t get drunk as this will make you less likely to know if you’re overdoing things. Your incisions should be well healed up by then, but take baby wipes, antibacterial hand wash to use before you touch your scars, and make sure you clean and dry the area well when you/ IF you shower! x

You should be ok, depending on how you are recovering, I felt great after a few weeks and capable to do lots of stuff. Just dont get too drunk as said! Cleanliness you shoudl be fine as long as you have wipes.

Hi hollieheart I went out 1 week after my op because it was New Years, I managed to stay out all night and had a few drinks, the next day I was a little achy but that was expected as I had stood most of the night, you will know yourself and you body will tell you if it’s ready, mine did x
