Is anyone else worried about the aftercare? Reading some of the stories on here after being 1 year post op and MYA are apparently useless?
If anything goes wrong with mine I want to ensure I’m getting all the care and support I need as it’s worrying. Any comments to ease off my worries?
    xx

Hey, I think it’s easy to read all the negatives on here as-most people tend to turn here when they have a concern or don’t feel their boobies are right. I’m only 3 weeks p/o today and I have had great aftercare.
I had some excess swelling and quite bad bruising and have had 3 appts and even courtesy calls to see how I am!
Everything’s fine and now excited for them to drop more and ‘fluff’.
I can’t speak for the women who have had to have revisions later down the line and I cannot imagine how stressful it must be. Just wanted to spread a bit of positivity from my experience so far x

Thanks girls. Which surgeon did you both have if you don’t mind me asking. I have Dr Linda Fiumara and have heard only good things about her which is making me confident in my decision. But Linda is quite new with MYA so nothing on here as of yet xx

Thanks Rebecca, how long have they had the implants for now?
I’m more worried about the long term implacations xx

    They are all fairly recent.
I understand you are worried about things that can come happen further down the line-but I’m sure this is still a minority in comparison x
It’s not something to take lightly I know-but anywhere can tell you their warranty and guarantee just most other companies don’t have forums so you don’t find yourself filled with negativity!
Try to think positive and face things when…and IF they happen xx
I think the last minute doubts are kicking in that’s all-I felt the same x

    @rebeccahughes thank you 🙂
I know what you mean, it’s only the minority but I haven’t seen any good feedback from people who are post surgery after a year, only negative?

That’s because they don’t really care too much about the forum as they are off enjoying their new boobies! Haha! xx

Thanks Missy, that’s more reassuring knowing you haven’t had any issues. Thansk Rebecca, haha… Yeah I know what you mean, but after me feeling like this I will definitely update this forum after a year and tell people about my experience lol.
I emailed my PC this morning but no reply? hmm

All you have to remember is everybody’s body is different, there are many people that have a great experience and many that don’t. As long as your aware of what could go wrong and that there’s aftercare available then it’s the right decision Hun

If u think about how many people get there boobs done with mya compared with the two or three complaints on here it does put it into perspective a bit . Other ba companies don’t have a forum like this or I expect it would be very similar x

I think bruising is normal with some surgeons hun. I didn’t even have strapping, just bandages where the incisions are. Don’t panic too much, you just need to be patient with it xx
