Aftercare staying away the first night

Hiya girls!
Was just wondering if you got given any meds to come away with after the surgery?
I need to know if to take anything with me as I’m travelling to Preston,Manchester to have my operation so need to be prepared if not. Thanks!!

You get given Cocodamol (or if you’re allergic to it they’ll give you other painkillers) and antibiotics to take home with you xxx

I know how scary it all is but if you prepare yourself for everything it’s not that bad hun. All the pain and discomfort is so worth it in the end! When is your op?xxx
