Ah shit!! Need me dressings changed but don't wanna be a pest :/

I don’t think my clinic have a nurse in today and me right dressing is coming off, I’ve tryed using micropore tape n the bugger ain’t sticking very well… And I don’t wanna ring n be a pest :/ x

Ring them that’s what they’re there for! I went to my nurse 3 times instead if the usual 1 time 7 day check, and spoke to her countless times over the phone and corresponded via email sending pics when I had a reaction to the tape. To be fair the nurses at birmingham have always made me feel comfortable to phone them. If you don’t get the dressing on right it could rub and you could blister. So def phone them. I’d rather be a pest than uncomfortable xx

Ah it’s not uncomfortable but it’s not stuck on very well, I’m 1 week post op today but my post check isn’t until Thursday.. And I’m weary if it not covered correctly it may be prone to infection.. I was trying to remember last time when I was done and uncovered but I can’t remember.. X

I just tryed and there was no answer x

Keep trying hun maybe they can see you before Thursday instead? Nothing is worth getting an infection xx
