air bubbles/squelching sounds URGENT

Hey Ladies

I had my 1 week pre op on wednesday and before hand i noticed my right boob when ever i lifted my arm to shoulder hgiht it would make this noticable squleching sound. it doesnt hurt when it makes the sound it is just loud and weird.

The nurse told me it was nothing to worry about and it was a air bubble from when they put the implant in and it would go….. but i cant see how it will go it has no where to get out…..

Has anyone had the same kind of problem at all or something similar as i am worried that it will not go and just need some advice from you lovely ladies???

I had my op yesterday and I am getting these sounds too.. I called nurse and friend who has had same op.. its NOTHING to worry about at all its just all the air and water/ blood going back to normal, it feels and sounds wierd.. I was so FREAKED out when I first heard it!! but i keep massaging it now and I am not worried at all x

hey, its normal, i had these noises and weird feelings, i think everyone does! it goes away after a couple of weeks. nothing to worry about hun

rachf how you feeling after your op i am 8 days post op now and feeling great apart from the weird sounds?

Hi Patsy – feeling goo tired but worth it.. I can’t wait till they are not swollen so I can get a true pic of what they will look like.. I keep thinking they are going to dissappear, like when i was breast feeding.. don’t think it will sink in that I finally have boobs untill I start to wear my own clothes, not button up pj’s… when did you go out for the 1st time?? xx

cant believe it was over a week ago we had this done!!

my left still swollen went bk see mr adamo weds he said got a bit of trapped blood hense swelling and could take quite some time to go!!

had to take extra week off work now as gets really uncomfy..

i got so worried..apparently called a hematoma and will eventually dissolve bk into the body over time..my right boobie has well settled already dropped a bit softening up..no major pains ina f sport bra xx

Hi cb, I was wondering where you went and was getting worried! Glad to hear you found out what the problem was and it sounds like it’s not too serious. I was worried about my right boob swelling but saw the nurse to take dressings off and she said they were fine. She put new dressings on and said I have to wait 3 more days before I can fully wash – argh! My issue now is with my scars – they’re really raised, I can feel them through my bra and I’m pretty sure this isn’t normal. 9 days post op – time flies!

Hi niki ive been wandering about you too!!! glad to hear your swelling is ok..scars look bad at mo hey..i had a look all red felt awful wen the dressings came off!!

im sure your scars are fine think healing process on these things are all a bit crazy hey..i had 1st proper shower today still uncomfy with this bloomin swelling ive put bra on today and helps keep it at bay..luckily i think im going to be ok i was so scared though..how ya boobs???? mine getting soft dropped etc..wearing 34f sport bra but is tight all front sticks out..time does fly hey xx

I had the bubbling feelings and sounds for a while after my 1st ba yrs ago. I was told it was totaly natural to get it at 1st and that it was nothing 2 worry about..14yrs later and my boobs have been fine xx

Hey rachf I first went out properly on the 7 day only cos I had to but for a full days shopping in westfields it was the 8th day and I felt fine although I’m still a bit tight.
