alcohol….

anyone know how long before op you should stop drinking??

My pc told me 1 week before and 1 week after…it helps to reduce swelling and speed up healing etc xx

ok thanks, i was told 2 weeks but surely that cant be right xx

I was told 2 weeks for everythig at po but my pc said a week but the longer the better xx

I was told 2 weeks before as well, tough but better to be safe

says on my patient info sheet do not drink alcohol 48hours prior to surgery? x
