alcohol – how long before ba op to stop

hi girls, i was hoping to have a couple of glasses of cava this weekend to calm my nerves lol, my ba is on tues 11 may so if i have a couple sat n sun thatll b 9 days bfore op, do u think thats ok? itll only b a couple xxx

Hiya, i think they say no alcohol 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after! Personally i wouldn’t risk it, but i’m a bit of a lightweight lol!! Good luck with your op :o) xx

Hey I was told 48hrs before x

I was told 48 hours bfore too, 2 wks is understandable if yr going on a big session lol x

I drank 5 days before – I went on A bender completely forgetting I wasn’t meant too!! Nobody saiid anything though lol. The info they Give you at preop says 48hrs xx

I was told 2 weeks before..basically they want you to get your body as ‘pure’ as possible prior to the op.

Pure – crikey how can ur body ever be pure lol, I’ll have a couple sat n that’s it x

i texted my co-ordinator today n she said 48 hours bfore, i just had one n was going to have one tomorrow but im unsure now boo xx

I was told 48 Hours. And as I had mine done on my birthday I was sure to go and have a good few the Friday before I went in, my op was the tuesday after, so it was about 4 days off booze beforehand.
