    Hi, does anyone know how long before and after you aren’t allowed to drink alcohol for after having surgery? x

    i got told no alcohol or garlic 2 days before…..but no mention of afterwards??

    Apparantly you are not supposed to have alcohol afterwards because it interferes with the healing process.thats good then if its only 2 days before, not that im an alcoholic or anything lol :o) x

    I was told 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after as alcohol thins your blood, it was a killer for me as I had my ba on 22nd dec so a Christmas and new year without alcohol for me last year, well I did have a cheeky few at new year to be honest. X x

    7 days after as alcohol thins blood and can cause probs if u drink to soon after!xx

    do you girls think 6 days after would be ok? I’m going this friday 2nd april and as i have to travel quite far to newcastle i normally stay the night and quite enjoy a night out there! promised my friend we would go out but now thinking i might have to cancel… what problems does it cause if you drink after apart from thin blood? x

    u have 2 take medication for 3days after… and u absolutely cant drive alcohol when taking them.. which says on the boxes x

    so 8 days post op should be fine then? dont want to mess up my new boobs for the sake of a night out but at the same time dont see the point in staying in when theres no need x
