Well after all the nerves and worrying today went really well.
I know its not to worry but honestly from the start to beginning has been fantastic. The whole team have been amazing throughout and put me at ease.
My admission time was 9 but arrived at 8:30 took me straight upstairs to my own room had to get the lovely knickers and gown on. Don’t pregnancy test and other observations. Soon after nurse came In signed some forms said I was third on the list, didn’t matter at this point I was so relaxed with my tv magazines phone ( if you have kids you know these moments are precious lol ) dr sleiter came in around 10 said would be 45mins till I go
Down took some pics marked me up. 10mins later Anesthesist came in went through
Everything. Around 11 got taken down for surgery everyone was lovely and it all happened so quick as I was waking up. My legs hurt the most felt really heavy (strange) then started shivering which soon went away after 10mins. Went for a wee straight away felt drunk but nurse assisted me, had my tea
Toast and biscuit which was lovely. Had a little doze, watching some tv at the mo waiting for my partner to pick me up as I am
All ready to go. Only a little bit uncormtable feels like wen your milk comes in after having a baby it’s bearable at the minute. Sorry for the long post but I found being on here ready everyone’s story helped.
