All Done :)

Hi Girls,

Finally had my BA yesterday at Ross Hall Hospital with Mr Ben Chew.

My admission time was 12pm so after not eating from tea time the night before I was starving by the time I arrived. I was taken into an office to sign a form and give a debit card to swipe, think its incase i used phone so they could charge me lol.

I was shown to my room, which was very nice and had freeview and picked my dinner, had a choice between various sandwiches or baked potato, so opted for a chicken sandwich.

Ben was in to see me straight away and took some photos, done some drawings and took another photo. He asked again about sizes and I said I would prefer the 300cc (offered 260 or 300) if possible, but if he felt it would be too big or cause any problems the final decision was down to him. He went through the whole procedure again in great detail and drew me pictures so explain his methods, this was great as most of the medical stuff goes over my head.

I was told that I was going to theatre about 2.30pm so was to get ready in my lovely nighty at 2pm. The nurse who came to check me was lovely too and made me feel at ease.

I waited very impatiently until 3pm as there had been a delay, and then was wheeled down to theatre, I sat in a sort of recovery room for about 15 minutes talking to a very sweet recovery nurse who said I didn’t look old enough to have 3 kids lol.

The aneasthetist (can’t spell) was very nice, noticed straight away I didn’t like needles. The put the needle in my hand and it didn’t work the first time so they had to do it again. I can’t even remember falling asleep, just waking up to go back to my room. I slept on and off for the next few hours until my husband arrived. Ben came in to see me and said I have 300cc in! Woohoo! Said it was a tight fit and definately couldn’t have gone any bigger. So pleased that he managed the bigger size.

I thought I was to stay overnight but the nurses seemed determined to discharge me so I gladly went home around 10.30pm.

No pain last night but slightly tender this morning. Definately a good experience and so happy I’ve done it a last.

I will get pictures up as soon as I can. Sorry if my story a bit shakey, still very tired and doped up lol.

Hi pauline i hope you dont mind me askin but what size were you originally? and did you have overs or unders? what size are you hoping 2 be? im so glad it went well xx

hi shell, i was a 34A and had 300cc partial unders. I am hoping for at least a C cup x

took before pics, not been brave enough for after pics yet but i will take some soon. Got to see nurse on Monday so hopefully get dressings off and take some then x
