Hi Girls,
Firstly to all you pre op girls, you have absolutely nothing to worry about!!!!
I had my ba yesterday at the Manchester Lifestyle Hospital with the fantastic Mr Traynor !!!!
The day started with an early checkin I know I was one of five day cases for that day. I arrived with my sister at 7.20am (Hubby couldn’t make it, he had to stay at home with kids and do the school runs) I filled in and signed a form before getting shown to my room, by the lovely porter Bernard, who carried my bag for me. I was in room 105.
A short time after a nurse came and done my pre op checks – blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, weight and asked a few more medical questions and told me I was 5th on the list for surgery.
The chef came round and took my menu. I only ordered a tuna sandwich and a piece of fresh fruit cos I didn’t think I would feel up to anything else.
The anethetist came round to see me, asked me a few questions and explained the side effects of the GA. He said that if I noticed a bruise on my thigh it would be from the anti sickness injection he’d of given me while under the GA.
At lunch time the fantastic Mr Traynor came to see me and got me marked up ready for my op! He is such a funny man and his fantastic sence of humour really does make you feel at ease. We confirmed implant size and then said he will see me soon. It wasn’t long after Mr Trynor left my room, that a nurse knocked on my door and said they were ready for me in theatre. The time was 12.45. I had a wee and changed into the sexiest pair of knickers Iv’e ever seen in my life lol!!! I got changed into my gown earlier, but delayed the comfort of the paper knicks!!!!
The nusre came back for me, said bye to my sister and walked down the corridor to the lift which took us to the doors of the theatre. By this time the butterflies had set in!!!
I was dreading having the canula put in due to past experiences, but I was absolutely amazed cos I didn’t feel a thing: not even a scratch when he put the needle in.
The anethetist was great! So all you pre op girls who are having your BAs at Manchester and are frightened of being put to sleep don’t be!!!! You don’t feel it and you will be off to sleep in seconds of it being inserted. I found it very relaxing!!
At 2.05pm I woke up from the GA shaking and shivering. They put the hot air blower under my blanket for a little while, until I warmed up and was then taken back to my room. Yippeeee all over with!!! I wasn’t sore just had a tight feeling across my chest, not in any pain tho!
I had a oxygen mask on for a while after, while recovering from the GA. Had some water, followed shortly after by a lovely cup of tea and some biscuits. OMG I was ready for them!!! My blood pressure was quite low so had to monitored quite often.
Later on Mr Traynor came to see me said everything went well, had a feel and said some lovely remarks. He his such a lovely man and I am so pleased he done my BA. I can not tell you how happy I am with my new boobs. I know it is very early days but I feel he has done a fantastic job.:jumping: I got discharged at 8.20pm
My sister and I stayed over night at Manchester and travelled back home this morning.
How do I feel now? – Well not too bad. I’m not in any pain as such, just feel very stiff and a little bit tender, but nothing that is unbearable. I have been sick this afternoon but I think that is from the tabs you have to take.
Over all my experience has been great and yes I would go through it again If I had too!!!!
Happy healing to all you other girls who had their BAs yesterday Manchester. Hope your expereience was as good as mine!!!

Like you i’m also having 340cc under the muscle, could i ask do they look big? I know they’ll be swollen at the moment. What size were you before? I’m a 34B currently but hoping to achieve a full C/D cup.
Any advise would be helpful to me.
Thank you Amie xx

Hi Girls
Thank you so much for all your lovely words!!! And yes I am absolutely loving my new boobs!!! xx
Sunshine, You will not regret having the 340cc. I was a 32a before, size 8/10 and 5’4. Like you, I wanted to be no bigger than a very full c/ small d and for them to look very natural. I am so pleased with the result and feel that Mr Traynor has given me what I asked for!! I know I have still got a little bit of swelling, but I don’t think I am going to be disappointed with the end result. My new boobs are not massive but just right I think for my frame. xx
How you doing Mel? Are you happy with your new boobs? Mr Traynor is fab isn’t he? Hope you are taking it easy hun. xx
If any of you want to see my before and after pics, I can email them to you. Don’t be afraid to ask!!! xx
