Hey hun. Firstly can I say congrats on ya new boobs. :D

Sorry to hear your in so much pain :( Im nearly 9 weeks post op and had 410 unders.

I would say I was in alot of pain from days 1-3. By day 4 I was off pain killers all together.

When was your op sweetie? My advice to you would be take your pain killers on a regular bases! Also move around. Don’t do anything excesive but just keep moving. The more you stay in one place the more pain you will be in because you’ll sieze up!

I do remember I was in quite alot of pain but I promise you day by day it will get easier! 9 weeks on I can’t even remember the pain so much anymore. Stick to the guide lines and sleep upright (or at a good angle) to make swelling reduce. (It does help) Lots of pillows. Pillow under your back and a pillow under your bum.

Also wrap your hands around your right knee and then slowly lower your leg down onto the floor to get u up from a laying position. That way you won’t be tensing your boob muscles or ribs etc.

It will be worth it hun and a distant memory. Hope you feel better soon Sugar xxx

Beccy, I know exactly what you mean, I had 460 unders on 15th May and thought the pain was bloody horrendous for about the first 5 days tbh…and you actually feel quite alone as many peoples stories on here are the opposite! I’d say days 3-5 were the worst and I had to take every single painkiller I was prescribed until day 7, then I went on to paracetamol for a day or so. The pain was still there afterwards but I didnt need meds for it.

Biggest bit of advice I can give is to take your meds and *relax* your shoulders, dont hunch over like I did, I had such aching shoulders cos it for two weeks. Use your V pillow and sleep on an incline for as long as you can to help with the swelling. xxx
