Hi I’m new to this only used it for advice before but I had my op yesterday and wanted to share my experience 🙂 I had Dr Kazzazi at Doncaster admin time 1.00pm and was in theatre by 1.45 he was lovely as we’re all the staff there! I took loads of comfy clothes but got straight into gown and socks. I had tan on arms n legs n polish on toes and that was fine. Op took an hour then recovered in my room. Pain is strange you feel like a robot but it’s better to move arms as normal as can stiffen up otherwise! The staff came in a lot to check and gave me toast n tea, I was home by 7pm. Felt a little sleepy but ok. Defo recommend a v pillow and also a neck one used for planes as helps posture, and try to sit down n get up using legs! 1st night sleep but awks and keep having to shuffle back up the bed but not too bad. Boobs so far don’t look too big and are still a little bit numb but they are strapped down well but can tell from side profile they are a lot better already 🙂
