    Hiya everyone.
Had my op today. My admission time was 9am.
The nurse took my blood pressure and asked some health questions and history and I had to do a wee sample for pregnancy checks.
Then the anaesthetist came in and talked about the local anaesthetic and sedation.
Then Mr Kazzazi came and went through everything then he drew on me /took photos and that was it.
I was in theatre by 9:50am. Walking to the theatre and walking to the room, laying down was absolutely awful. Seeing the nurses and doctors getting dressed and sorting the equipment out was just not a nice sight. But believe me I am THE WORST for hospitals and needles.. I didn’t feel the needle and cannula.. do not worry!!!
I was chatting away about fathers day and next thing I know I’m waking up, being strapped up and being wheeled back to my room.
The next horrible thing was the after effect to the anaesthetic. I was vigorously shaking!!! It scared me to death but the nurses said it was normal and not to worry. It eventually calmed down and stopped once I’d had something to eat and drink.
I was out of theatre by 11 o’clock.
The nurses at the Natural Look Clinic in Doncaster are absolutely incredible, so lovely and helpful. So enthusiastic and make you feel at ease. Had a laugh with them and everything.
I got checked over by the nurse, anaesthesia and Mr Kazzazi.. They said it went really well and I should have good results.
I cannot fault the team and the place. The theatre room was literally 10 steps away from my room!? It was like a house.
I was home for 3 o’clock. I’m aching like mad and very tight chested but bareable and not had any pain as of yet but I’m sure it will be coming in the upcoming days!
I have my course of tablets. Paracetamol 4-6 hours, Ibuprofen 8 hours, Anitbiotics morning & night. (Please listen to the nurse and do as they say as your course may be different to mine!!!)

Good luck to all those researching and those who have their op booked. Happy healing/recovery 😘
    Xx
