ALL DONE! :) my story with Dr. Singh

Hey girls! Had my op with Dr. Singh yesterday at Highgate

Arrived at about half 10am and was taken to my room around 11am by a lovely nurse Sharon (I think that was her name?!) nurse Sarah then came to see me and showed me everything in my room and checked my temp/ blood pressure etc. I got changed into my sexy hosputal gown and paper knickers and socks!

I didn’t actually go into theatre till about 3pm which was a LONG wait from 11am so I slept for a while to keep myself calm so I didn’t get too anxious. As soon as I woke up about 2:45 nurse Sharon came back to take me down to theatre! The anesthatist was lovely, he was chatting away while he put the needle in my hand and the painkiller and anaesthetic. Those hurt when he put them in n made my body feel all tingly n weird.

The next thing I knew I was in the recovery room!!!!! My body was shaking quite badly from the anaesthetic so I stayed downstairs for a while until I stopped shaking. I felt quite drowsy and kept going in and out of sleep. I had a quick peek at my new boobies and immediately fell in love! Although I have this big White tape wrapped around them ATM so it’s a bit hard to tell.

Got back to my room and slept for a couple of hours. My mum was quite happy reading her book all day and said it was nice to have some peace and quiet away from our busy house haha we both had salmon for dinner which was lovely then I slept some more and was discharged at 9pm! The car journey was a bit awkward but I had my V pillow in front of my seatbelt and only the bumps hurt a bit.

I hope all the other girls who had their ops yesterday are healing okay!!! Let me know how you all are! I am a bit achy ATM but trying not to move around too much.

Hope this is helpful for pre-op girls the whole day is very exciting and fun even tho it’s a bit scary before the op. Good luck to all the girls having their ops in the next week xxxxx

OH! I forgot to add my stats haha I’m 5th 4, size 8 and was a 32A pre-op! I had 300cc high profile overs with Dr. Singh who was fabulous will post more soon when I get this White tape taken off so I can see my new boobies properly!

Now that I’ve decided I want Dr Singh, and (sort of) decided on what implant I want (leaning towards 410cc but still unsure as I was offered 380cc as well) I just want the dates confirmed so I can get it booked!!

The whole experience doesnt sound too bad – very reassuring reading yor experience… my ba is booked for 4th may with dr adamo – sooo nervous!

im the same stats as u and dr adamo recommended 310cc overs high profiles for me too! to take me from a 32b to a large 32c…. would love to see ur pics when there up hun, to see what mine might look like!

Hey Kat, no the experience was amazing! I got a bit anxious from waiting for three hours in my hospital gown but everything else was really good

I will add you now, think I’ll try n take some pictures in the next couple of days Altho I have this White tape on them at the moment! And I’ll put some more up when the tape is off haven’t got a clue what size I’m gona be lol but I’m happy with whatever as itll be bigger than what I was!

yes im at highgate! – it hasn’t actually sunk in yet! think it will when i next see dr adamo on the 28th to finally decide on the size and whether under or overs…. can i ask did u choose overs, or is that what adamo recommended?

Hi hope mines goes as well for me… I am having mr Singh on the 29th June happy healing xxx

I had Dr. Singh and that’s what he recommended! I told him i exercise quite regularly and he said I had enough tissue for overs so that was that also unders take longer to heal because they’re under the muscle as well as the breast tissue (obviously lol)

Highgate is a really nice hospital Altho parking was a bit of a mare lol if you get there after 12 you can park on the road but before 12 it’s all permitted! I shall let u know once I’ve put pics up
