All done – my story x

Hi girls, just sitting waiting for Mr Adamo to come round to send me home so thought I’d give my story.

Woke up this morning, luckily my sore throat had practically gone, thsnk god for honey and lemon! Got to highgate at 7 ( my admission time was 7.30, fairly quickly shown to my room and within 20mins the nurse came round (all the nurses are lovely). Then I got changed (lovely knickers lol). Everything happened so quickly, the anethatist, then Mr Adamo came to draw on me. I’d had a few tears before mr a came in but he completely put me at ease. He told me that he would make my smaller boob – make the pocket bigger to aim to match it up (as I couldn’t have two dif sizes). Once he went I literally went down to theatre about 20mins after. Was laying on the operating table at 9am. I was the first one so they were still setting up a bit. I’m petrified of needles so didn’t look when the needle went in my arm after the sharp scratch, wasn’t long before I had a little cough and then went a bit lightheaded, the next thing I rememer is waking up in the recovery room, the tube had been removed from my throat but my throat wasn’t sore and still isn’t. I had a look almost straight away and looking down they looked tiny and I was thinking, oh no! So, I went down about 9 and was in rcovery at 10, back to my room by 10.30. Nurses are great, had water for first half hourthen tea and toast, then it was time to orde lunch, which was v nice, even though I wasn’t hungry I ate it. I’ve hardly had much pain, just some shooting pains now and again, I have taken painkillers though. I decided to get up and have a look at boobs in mirror, oh my god they are not small at all!! Don’t let looking down decieve you! Lol I’m very pleased, they don’t look stuck on at all. I’m just waiting for mr adamo to come round so I can go home.

All in all I’m very happy and very happy with Mr Adamo – he is lovely!

I got measured just before op as 32c ( always thought I was a 34b/c!) ad had 410 overs. They don’t look fake at all as in the stuck on look, they are big but I don’t want them to go smaller haha I think from guessing, atthe mo I’ll be in my 34f sports bra but hasn’t attempts it yet as mr a doesn’t mind if you don’t wear them.

Congrats on your new assets hun!! Im having Mr Adamao too and meeting him for the first time tomorrow. Your story has really helped to calm my nerves as I enquired about a date asap and they have 2nd feb free so ill be reserving that tomorrow!EEK! Looking forward to seeing your pics as Im similar to your OLD boob size!lol! I want to be a dd/e… Are you not staying overnight? xx

Hi linzi – I’m glad it’s helped you, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Mr Adamo is lovely. He could see I was panicing in threater and started making jokes which completely took my mind off it. Ooo second of feb! Not long at all that will fly!! let me know how you get on at your consult. I’m just on way home now, you pay 500 more for overnight, I’m an hour away but I’m going home, my brother is driving but we are currently stuck in rug hour traffic I’m quite comfortable – left my stocking socks on pob just as well. Its so expensive for just a bed and a bit of food isnt it! Gosh! I might look into getting a hotel actually to make it a bit cheaper. I live about 90 miles away so I wouldn’t be allowed to go home… Ive been speaking to another girl on here who is also seeing mr adamo on 2nd so i might ask if she fanices sharing a room- or is that a bit weird?ha ha!I only made my first phonecall to MYA last week but Im in a rush to do it firstly because if I have too long to think about it I could change my mind, also because im flying long haul at the end of april and want to be healed as much as poss! So how much did you pay then if you dont mind me asking? Did you get finance too? xx

i have requested for ur friendship now my op is booked with Mr Traynor on 23rd March but im seeing Mr Kazzazi on 25th Jan and i may go with him if mr Traynor dont give me 410 cc x x are u in any pain how does it feel x x

awww congrats sweety, so happy for u hun , Do they put the tube down your throat before or after being put to sleep hun? i’m the kinda person who cant swallow pills or anything like that as i have such a bad gag reflex lol xx

Linzi – I hear a lot of people have done that,and defo ask the girl who is on the day with you if she doesn’t mind sharing, you can only ask. are you not having anyone go with you? It can happen really quickly can’t it! Best way i’d say! I ended up paying 3750 I think, I got £150 as my friend had Mr Adamo last year recommended me. I paid a £500 deposit and then I split the remainder with finance from first medical on an interest free loan some I paid myself.

Nessy – that’s cool i’ll accept. I am in a bit of pain I won’t lie! I think it’s probably because my painkillers have run out but i’ve just taken some more. One boob is in more pain than the other though.

Thanks Linz – If I didn’t know that they put a tube down your throat I wouldn’t have even noticed. I haven’t got a sore throat either. The best advice i can give is don’t look around the operating theatre when you go down there.

It realy isn’t bad at all, just like a room, but just try to keep focused. in all honesty you can’ really see much but it’s just a good idea not to look for things. Everyone is lovely and really keeps your mind off of it xxx

hmmm think they both felt the same, just uncomfortable twinges. I had 380 overs from a 34b so very similar to you. The first week is the most uncomfortable, especially getting up in the mornings! Just try and take it very easy, and take the pain killers to help with the pain. I only took them for the first 3 days, as i hate taking tablets. x

What time did u end up leaving the hospital… I have to get a hotel so just wondering if I’ll have to get my boyfriend to check in while I’m in surgery!! Hi jenny, course, no probs, I’ll try to put photos up tomo so everyone can see. I ended up leaving at approx 6.15pm, but I think it completely depends on what time your surgery is as ive heard of people not being let out until 9pm. Might be a good idea to get your bf to check in as then you won’t have any fussing around, cos you prob won’t feel like it. Bet you are so excited let me know how it goes and any questions of my experience I’m happy to answer xx

Hi Gemmalouise, well my fiance is picking me up the next day. I didnt want him to stay with me as he really doesnt want me to do this so I just know that when I need the encouragement if I start to freak then he wont be the best person! He’s also self employed and works evenings so he didnt really want to take the time off work. I might just travel to hosp with a friend and stay in hotel with her and get picked up next day. My boob buddie has already paid for stay in hosp so will be staying there. I did ask though, lol!

That sounds like a good idea then! You def need someone to help you as I haven’t even attempted to open a door yet as I think it will be too heavy.(bathroom door in room as ok as it was quite light) Make sure you girls take your own pillows, especially if you are staying in a hotel cos you need lots to prop you up with (I’m at home sleeping on a recliner chair but I’ve got a hardish pillow and v pillow behind me as well as having the recliner half back. My own pillows made me really comfortable in hosp so if you can it’s def worth it. Don’t forget to take dressing gown and slippers if you can (the nurse did say she could get me some slippers but Im glad I took my own.)

it’s prob cos he’s worried about you my mum was the same but when I woke up she was keen to look and completely got over it, I really hope it’s the same with your fiancé! I’m sure he will be fine once he sees the benefits haha

Ohhh noooo I really didn’t mean to freak anyone out with that bit, I’m so sorry! It isn’t bad at all, it’s just my prefernce not to look and in all honestly I did have a few sneeky peeks but it’s nothing bad at all, from the little peeks I did have I really didn’t seen anything scary, so sorry girls you don’t need anything freaking you out. I was panicing like made two days before then on the day I sorted myself out so if it doesn’t scare me I’m sure you girls will be fine (a I’m a big baby) lol xxx
