All Done – What an amazing very surreal day :)

Hi Ladies,

Well I had my BA today so here is my story, 340 unders with the legend Mr Gary Traynor.

Admission time was 7.30am at Highfield, I was promptly seen to and shown to my room then the nurse came in for a chat, took my blood pressure and gave me the sexy socks and best knickers i have seen in my life, i swear they looked like a giant diaper lol added humour to it to be fair.

Next thing anethatist came in introduced himself went through a few things then said i will see you in theatre,Mr Traynor came in to see me next check sizes etc have a little chat.

A weird thing had happened when i arrived at the hospital, my nerves disappeared, i didnt have the shakes or anything was just really exciteed!

Ah then my booby buddy Stacey arrived and luckily was in the room opposite which was great!

Before i knew it the nurse came to take me to theatre, last thing i remember is chatting to the anethatist and he said im going to put you to sleep now and that was it i was gone!!!

Then i woke up and said to the lovely nurse thats the best sleep ive had in a long time! by the time i got back to my room i was wide awake and gave my mum the thumbs up, i was soooo happy and in no pain at all!

Even the nurses was shocked how quickly and well i came round from the anastectic,, apparantly because im only tiny they expected me to suffer and be in pain but i am absolutly fine.

Had a look at my new babies straight away and even took a picture and was texting all my mates I actually love love love them straight away, they are just perfect!

I had ordered pasta for lunch, tried to eat but just made me feel bit sickly so nurse said that was ok i could wait till i got home to eat. think i had a little sleep for an hour or so woke up feeling fine again and nurse said once i had managed to go on the toilet i could go home!!! this was at 1.30, i left the hospital at 3.30pm.

Mt Traynor came in before i left to see how i was etc i thanked him soo much, he is actually a GOD

I know everbody is different and i have been an extremely lucky girl upto now as i am still in no pain im only up because i cant sleep but to all you Post op ladies please do not worry you are in fantastic hands and it is not as scarey as you expect.

If i have missed anything out please feel free to ask, sorry i know its long winded but these stories really helped me prepare for it and think made my nerves disappear!

I am expecting to feel like ive been hit by a bus tomorrow so if i am not on will get back to anybody asap, no pics up yet i have only taken one today and not sure how to upload but will do soon.

Just a little update, i feel kinda bad saying this because there are a few ladies in pain but i dont feel like i have been hit by a bus I feel great, no pain, got up fine just a little achy im actually shocked thought i wouldnt be able to move today.

Hey Pocahontas. Glad yr day went gd! Its great to hear yr in no pain n doin well. I had my op at 10 today in Highgate, from the second I woke up ive bin in agony but ive got great boobs! Lol. Anyway ill post my story in next day or to, gor u to read.

Fab story, and your boobs look AMAZING eeeeeeeee! Night out soon with our new babies is definitely on the cards! Don’t think I could have done it so calmly if you weren’t there! Advice to all your post op girls if you can keep in touch with your booby buddy make sure you do! xxxx

Thanks for all your lovely comments and im glad to hear it will help some of you with nerves.

Cragroo – sounds like a great idea i will have a look at your thread soon.

I still dont have any pain just a little tenderness!

Oh and i am only taking the antibiotics that i was prescribed and just paracetamol and voltarol for pain relief because codene / cocodomal dont agree with me so mum checked with the nurse and she said those would be fine.

Nikki81 – i had unders hun so i am shocked at how well and mobile i am, obviously not doing too much but feeling great considering!

ohh and by the way ladies, i asked the nurse how long i had to sleep sat up for and she did look at me like i had 2 heads!!! she said you sleep how ever you feel comfortable except the obvious being not on your front!

I had bought a V pillow anyway so slept propped up last night but wasnt very comfy.

still only got 1 pic and havent uploaded yet as cant find my lead eeeeks will sort it asap.

almost forgot am a bit annoyed that i have not had a phone call from either my nurse or pc today!!!! good job im coping alright!! ppfftttt xx
