ALL SURGEONS THE SAME??

not sure if its just me but when i met mr singh he didnt say much and was in a massive rush to get me out

met mr Chantrasak aswell he was the same, slighly more friendly though,

anyway main reason im writing this is, i didnt feel comfortble getting my question sheet out, and my picture list i had prepared, and also i didnt try on any implants in a bra or under a t shirt? i feel as though im always bloody rushed about!

That’s a bit pants. I had Mr C and he doesnt say a lot and I did feel a little rushed too. I never tried on any implants either, just held them and went with what he said. He is a good surgeon though

Ask to see them again. I saw Dr Singh twice before mine and didn’t feel rushed at all, maybe you happened to see them both on busy days, I know some surgeons are sometimes treble booked. It’s definitely a good idea to try the implants on x

See mr traynor wasnt like that at all. He had loads of time for me, even on me surgery date he sat with me for a good 15 mins while i cried haha! He even held me hand when a went to sleep!

im just hoping he is nice and friendly on the day of the OP, i even tryed cracking a few jokes, which he didnt laugh to. D’OH!

lol. ah well, strange thing is mr C wasnt busy, nobody waiting. mr singh was very busy though, still not fair though, pay all the money to get to london and u get rushed in and out like nobodys business! xx

I think Mr C is just really shy. I guess I just thought to myself that I was paying for his surgical skills not his people skills. The surgeons should spend more time with you though. Just ask to see him again and go in with your sheet of questions and ask away!

Also ask some of the questions on here. Everyone is very helpful

Helena was like that too…i was only in there about 10 mins and didn’t feel i could ask the questions i wanted to…she just told me what i was having and that was that x

My surgeon was fantastic, i took my best friend along for some support. He was a little queit, very professional, explained everything very clearly and took a lot of time with me to help decide. i was with him about 1-11/2 hours first went back for a second and was there an hour. I also was told i could go back again, if i still had unaswered questions. Andrew Hart from Glasgow Mya-excellent so far, my op is on Friday x

I felt exactly the same. Saw both Mr Singh and Mr Chantrasak too and was scared to ask too many questions! I wanted to take along a list and some photos along but so glad i didnt as they probably would have chucked me out!!! Tried making them laugh without success.. at least i made myself laugh x

My surgeon is marion grob she was fantastic I was sitting with her about a hour she listened to everything I had to say and reassured me things will be great x

i have booked with mr chantrasak now, but just wondering if they see lots of patients and eventually just just blur in to the same old patient?!

im happy ive booked with him just sitting here reading my questions list i had wrote and pictures i had gathered, what a waste of time. ?!

I had Mario, he jots down 2 or 3 sizes and I think you both decide on them the day of the surgery. I forgot to ask to try them on so asked my nurse in the pre op medical. They book you in for an hour so you have plenty of time. If you wanted to change your mind though I think you have to see the surgeon again.
