    Hi,

I have my surgery booked for 7th December with Mr Aurakzai through MYA & cant decide whether to have Allergan CUI implants or Allergan Natrelle Responsive implants. Has anyone had either of these & what’s the difference? I am having 300cc partials & im after an implant which looks as natural as possible. Would the responsives leave a more natural result?

    Thanks! xxxx

I got told that they are basically the same, looks/touch wise. & that the ‘soft touch’ are firmer than CUI.

I think the % of Capsular C is lower with the AN than CUI.

i jst paid £306 extra n well worth it i say :) thers soft touch aswel which are about £500, they are a more cohesive gel. mya dont rly mention them, i had to ask because someone had told me about them, i was going to go for the soft touch but my surgeon recommended responsive because i wanted them as natural as poss. xx

I am so undecided about which implant to choose. I spoke to my PC & she said i wouldnt notice a difference between the responsives & the CUI’s, but they are only £306 & they come with a lifetime guarantee, definitely worth paying the extra! I think im going to go with the responsives!

Please can you send me some pics chelsxx. My email is kezastarr@hotmail.com!

Thanks so much, would love to see what they look like! Ive seen pics of CUI’s but not of responsives!

What’s the difference between responsives and soft touch?

I’ve only heard of the normal ones n soft touch but I was told I won’t notice any differences but I want them natural as possible tho so don’t mind paying extra if it’s worth it xx

Stolen from another forum I go onto…

allergan Natrelles come in 3 types of gel: responsive (least firm), soft touch (firmer) and cohesive (mostly in anatomicals to hold their shape). Although the responsives feel softer you are more likely to get rippling the less cohesive the implant is. As far as I am aware most surgeons use soft touch as they are soft to the touch but still cohesive enough to hold their shape and the gel stays in one place if ruptured.

Ooops my mistake im getting Inspira.

    Menu

There too many to choose from. I dont know which ones to go for. I was quoted £461 for the soft touch. I was told the responsives act more like your breast tissue so they drop more & the soft touch just feel softer (more like natural boobs. Not sure if this is true? Its only something i have read on a forum, but i guess everyone is different & it just depends case by case. I know the CUI’s only come with a 10 year guarantee but the naterlle range come with a lifetime guarantee & Allergan put £700 towards the cost of your surgery if they rupture. Quite unlikely but for the sake of £300-£400 its probably money well spent……xx

It’s all so confusing on which to go for! The hospital group advised I go for the soft touch because of the lifetime garrentee and because I’m still young. But I don’t kno if they were just trying to get more money out of me because that’s the impression I got from the whole consultation. Whereas it seemed like MYA was trying to convince me not to have the soft touch and they were pointless and I was told the lifetime garentee didn’t really cover much either :/ i cant even decided on the size implant either tho to be honest lol im a 32a jat want to be a full c maybe small D, decisions decisions! What size you hoping to be with 300s? Xx

    Menu

Your the same size as me, im a 32a and got offered either 260 or 300’s. Im going for the 300’s & got told i would be a C cup with them. Im only really small though (5ft 2, 8 stone, size 6) so i think 300’s are plenty big enough for me. Surgeon said he wouldnt go any bigger than the 300’s anyway because of my frame. Have you had a consultation yet? The surgeon will take measurements & tell you what size he thinks will be best for you. If you tell him you want to be a D then he will tell you which size to go for. I went in thinking i wanted to be a D cup & had 240’s in my mind, came out going for a C with 300cc implants! Everyone is different though. Ive decided to go for the responsive implants (my PC also said there wasnt any difference between them & the CUIs) but i think its just peace of mind. I would feel better having the responsives. Have you seen chelsxx comment above? Thats enough to make me change, she sounds so pleased with them! :D

I was told that Soft touch are actually firmer then CUI …

Im only having the Inspira because im having 700cc & CUI dont go bigger then 525cc.

I probably wouldnt have bothered paying the extra otherwise.

Yeah I seen Marion grob and she offered me 260s and 300s aswel, overs which suprised me because I have hardly anything lol. She said 300s would make me a D but I think theyl be too big as I’m quite petite. Yeah I seen chels pics aswel they look fab! What surgeon dis you see?

700cc seems so big compared to what I’ve been looking at! Lol what size you aiming for?

I havent seen her pics yet, im in work so dont want to look just yet or the whole office might see them haha. Ill have a look when i get home! Im going with Mr Aurakzai, im having 295 partials. I was quite surprised by him saying i could have partials, thought i would have to have unders becuase im TINY! Argh im so confused about which implant to have……..my op is a week tomorrow & im stressing out trying to decide which implant to go for! xx

    Menu

I want to be a F/G .. Im 5’3 32D, Im going with Mr Singh. He says I need 700cc so im going to trust his judgement. Even though I think its to much but he knows best.

There isnt much difference between 260/300 so go with the bigger of the two or you might like so many women on here end up disappointed.

Chelsxx – what size implants did you have? Were they unders or overs? xx

Sorry to sound stupid but what are partials? Rr I can imagine the stress, I haven’t even booked mine yet and I’m already stressin!

Yeah alot Of people have said go for the biggest, I just don’t want them to look fake on me, but I supper yu hear more stOrys of the suse being too small rather than too big!

    Xx

    Menu

Partials are when the implant is partially under & over the muscle. Its something to do with where your muscle runs through your breast & the position of your nipple?! I dont understand it but thats what i got told i was having. Surgeon knows best! :-) xx

Hi ladies, I’m new to this site and have an appt to see Mr Adamo next Thurs. Is there a website that can explain in basic terms the difference between all the different allergen implants?! Also the different positioning? I’m having to have a reaug after 17 yrs & wasn’t offered any choice back then. At the moment I have overs, only small compared to todays standards…200cc!! I need to go bigger after 4 babies and think I would prefer unders as I’ve always felt I look like I’ve a couple of grapefruits stuck on my chest! Still don’t fully understand what partials are?? Would be really grateful for any advice. Also think I need an uplft, Does anyone know how many cm lift u can get with just a nipple lift as I want to avoid a full masopexy if poss? Help!!!!!!
