Just googled it there’s quite a bit of people who have hives but been told it’s not related to implants I’d imagine the cut wouldn’t of healed etc if was allergic to it but don’t no babe xx

    Menu

Have you spoken to your gp ?? ….they are the best people to ask x…. Just a thought though …since your op ,have you been using any anti stretch mark creams …it could be that you have developed a reaction to that ….but I would say go to your gp ….it may not be anything to do with your implants and they can find out if you have decode allergic to something as can happen to anyone at any time …xx

Well i did use garnier spray tan, which i havent used since i was 18 but i used that on the thurs then me rash appeared bgt he following weds. I also changed my fabric softner but since then i have re washed all my cothes in my old one yet the rash is getting worse and worse.

I thought it wad a sweat rash at first as it.started between me boobs where i sweat. But its now all over my body! So worried waited yrs for my implants and love them :(

    Menu

I think we tend to Worry and blame our boobs for anything not right with us …..it could be a combination of factors ….think you you call your gp or ring the nurse at mya ….if you explain to her she may have the answer if it is boob related ….have you googled on line for any clues ???. Try not to get yourself down …..this rash will clear …big hug xxx

Dolly google is why im worried lol! I am hoping if it was to do with my boobs it would have presented itself a lot earlier than 5months po im at the docs at twenty past four again today. X

    Menu

What is the rash like ? Has it little red bumps ….or is the skin red and raised slightly in patches ??? I’m googling ….some people get reaches post op due to the medication ….I think it takes the body a long while to get it all out of your system ….and what with it being hot I’m sure that has not helped ……x

I do have hayfever hun. I did stupidly change my softner and.then with the heat maybe its got into my skin that way!

I have been on the real self forum where plastic surgeons answer the questions, one girl had asked about her rash being a result of a reaction to implants and all surgeons said definately not.

Im soo worried its unreal :( i cant stop crying am a total wreck so scared as i love my boobs :(

Maybe if it was my boobs it wouldnt go all over my body xxx ill let u all know how.it goes xxx

    Thank u all xxx

I know it can be grim reading on google ….but if you were allergic the reaction would be more internal as it’s the bodies auto immune system that fights what it sees as an intruder …sounds odd …but studies on implants years ago have shown that when you have implants or any other fake body part inside you ,your bodies defense system surrounds it and actually helps lessen the development of cancer cells …I watched years ago a program called storm in a d cup about all the panic over implants and silicon ,I was due to have my first op ….so anything boob related I watched ….now get this they did a test on three rats …one did not have any implant( put in under the skin on it’s back …not loads of little one running down it’s underside) the second one they put the implant bag with no silicon in and the third a full implant …the then introduced cancer cells to the rats ( it was grim but very compelling to watch) now the second rat the cells started to spread the first the cell spread quickly but the third the cells hardly spread or developed at all …..I guess I’m trying to say don’t think to yourself it’s your implants …it could be a combination of reactions from the medication which may of left you hyper sensitive to other ingredients in products which have caused the rash …..glad you are going to the Dr’s …..and if you feel he has not given you the answers ask him to refer you to a skin specialist xxxx sorry for the rambling message ….and I understand that like me you wanted your boobs so badly and now you have them you a frightened that something is going to take them away again ….and nothing is going to make me part with my new puppies that’s for sure lol ..xxx

Oh fairy you poor love :(

I would lay money on it that it’s not your implants, your body would have rejected them.

If you think, most rashes start on your chest , stomach or back

Have you eaten slot of fish lately? If you eat fish and absorb strong uv rays it can react to a rash, strange I know but it does!

It’s something you have eaten or used different than normal.

Stressing won’t help the rash go down, drunk plenty of water and flush yourself through .

Think positive babe it won’t be your boobs, I’ll have a bet with you. Xxxxxxx

Thanks dolly hun. Thats what the surgeons on the site said. If there was a reaction more likely to be internal.

They said its never been heard of before though.

I like the rat thing it was well interesting :)

I can cope with the rash if the itchiness and soreness went away so i could bloody sleep xxxxx

Thanks ladyjen!hope u are right :) i do nt eat fish at all. Im sat wracki ng my braiins on what i have eaten thats different cos im pretty simple and eat the same things!

I just hope the docs can stop the itch. The rash is in placed of sweat. Started in cleavage, spread to boobs where bra strats wtc are, then all over boobs, then all over chest and stomach then into my back up my neck,,,,

Come to think of it, my rash was in the shape of my bra, which coyld mean a sweat rash, but do sweat rashes spread? Hmmmm

This has hit a nerve with me after you said about changing your fabric softener. I changed mine once and came out in a rash just as you describe. I think I used it for over a week until I noticed the rash and it got worse and worse. I went to the doctors and I had to be prescribed antibiotics as it was so bad!! I thought there was no way it could have just been from changing fabric softener, but apparantly so!! I was also given this awful cream that was really thick but it did work (eventually)!

So, it won’t be your implants hun so don’t worry (although I know it’s easier said than done) Like the other girls have said if you had been allergic to the implants your body would have rejected them ages ago.

    Take care love xx

Do you have that rash all over your body, or just in between your boobs and on your stomach? It looks identical to the rash I had. Mine was patchy and it was mainly on my stomach and my legs. I sympathise with you 100% as it is so sore and itchy. Does it feel like it’s on fire? It’s horrible but try not to worry as it can be sorted and it’s nothing to do with your implants. You’ve prob got it on your boobs as maybe because they are now bigger they are sweating a bit more and the skin’s a bit more sensitive cos it’s been stretched. Get yourself back to the docs, as soon as. I told mine I had changed my softener he said that’s what it was. Up until then I had had really good skin but ever since then I look after it as much as poss using that sanex body wash/bubble bath etc and switching back to my original softener. You wouldn’t believe that something so simple can do this to your skin, but it can, trust me. Im no doctor but that looks exactly the same as what I had. Until you get some cream or some tablets it isn’t going to get any better im afraid, so get to the docs asap. (Try using a different doc to last time!!! – he sounds like a muppet!!) Hope you’re soon feeling better xx

ITs all over my back my neck face stomach boobs and arms!

I have just got back from my docs, last few docs i have seen are the emergancy on call and hospital docs. My doc is fab! He says it looks like a bacterial infecrion of the skin, due to sweat blocking the pores.

I asked him about my implants, he said highly unlikely, however if my 7 days antibiotics dont start to clear it up i have to contact my surgeon and get an appt with him…

Hoping its the sweat thing or ill be devo! I love my boobs! Thanks for ur help tracey hun xxxx

I had that and was diagnosed with pityriasis rosea. It drove me insane, it was so itchy. I thought it was an allergy and tried everything I could think of to clear it. When I went to the doctors, he wasn’t sure until he saw the bigger red patch and then he knew exactly what it was. Unfortunately, there’s no cure, it’ll just go away by itself, but they can give you cream to help soothe the itching. It can last months, I had it for 3 months. Apparently it’s triggered by a virus, but I didn’t have one before I got it.

Hi there just back on line ….if it’s a bacteria …heat rash / fungus infection …get some selsun blue it’s a medicated shampoo ….I had a patch between my cleavage and it started to spread ,it looked a lot like ring worm but it’s a fungus infection that happens to people who are in hot sticky climates ….try it anyway as the sulpher is good for skin irritation …just use it as a shower gel …it’s bright blue ….no harm in trying xxx

hi fairy, just read all these posts, sorry to hear this is happening to u, i know how you feel tho, over xmas last year i had a rash appear that lasted a few months all over my face and it eventually spread all across my chest stomach and back, never really figured what it was but think it was allergy to something (was eating lots of nuts over xmas) and i have eczema and hayfever so am prone to allergies anyway, but mine was also red blotchy,in parts raised and UNBELIEVABLY itchy! my gp prescribed me a really strong anti histamine which is supposed to be good for itcy skin, its called fexofenadine, it may help with ur itching, also when u bath and shower try not to have the water too hot as this will irritate it, i also found using a shower cream and body lotion from docs thats for eczema prone skin helped, anything perfumed is likely to irritate it more. also steroid creams, even tho they are bad for you, work wonders on my eczema so mite be worth checking with ur gp. If what ur trying doesnt help ask to be referred to a dermatologist, thats what i had to do in the end. oh and one last thing, the more stressed i got and worked up about it the worse it got, try and chill if u can and not think about it, i know how hard it is tho, sorry for such a long post, u have probably fell asleep reading this! xxxxxxxxxxxx
