    Hi Ladies,

Almost there with my saving goal, got just over £3500 now, so once I get Christmas out of the way I should be able to book my surgery. I meet Mr Mounir on the 7th of December, and I can’t wait. My husband is really happy about it too – he’s been working his butt off to help me save. I love him.

It’s insane how quickly we’ve saved this, he’s just been doing really long hours at work. I’m amazed because I estimated back in September that it’d take us until summer to have all this money saved.

I’ve wanted surgery for so long now, so it’s finally feeling real and I don’t know whether I’ll be laughing or crying when it comes to actually booking it, but I’m so happy! 🙂 I had to share!

That’s great, and good of your husband to support you. Me and my partner have been savings for mine too, I’ve booked mine for May but I’m hoping to have it in January now, I’m just waiting to hear if I can have it off work. Xx

    Thanks ladies!
I think I’m waiting until after Christmas mainly because of all the stuff I have to get done before it comes really. I have my mum down for a few days just before it, my son’s birthday is this Tuesday, my husband is still doing overtime hours and once that’s over he’ll need a good rest. (12-20 hour days, 14 weeks of overtime, we’re both exhausted!) and also I just think I’d like to get the holidays out of the way without needing to take medication and stuff…

We might end up booking it sooner, because it will let me get on with doing other stuff once I have the op done – I want to start refurbing the house and my laptop is 5 years old now, and I am lusting after an iPad! So yeah, I just need to see what my husband thinks. I’m not in a rush really, I’ve wanted this for 10years, and if I could do it tomorrow I would, but if I’ve waiting this long, I can wait until a suitable time comes for us to do it.

Besides – I wouldn’t be able to stand cooking a great big meal on Christmas day if I had just had surgery. Plus I like to make all our neighbours and friends shortbread, it’s hard rolling shortbread and I wouldn’t trust my husband to do it (even with supervision)! So yeah, I’ll see. I might end up meeting Mr Mounir and feeling so excited about the whole thing that I pay in full there and then and book the op asap! LOL

I’m feeling really nervous, it’s only 3 weeks until I meet him now! EEEKKK!!!

😀 It’s great isn’t it! I had thought about doing it just after Christmas, but I’m not sure. I need to see what my husband can take off, and if he’s ok doing it so soon. I didn’t expect to have all the money for it until May, so we’re 6 months ahead of schedule, but it’d be nice to have it done sooner rather than later. That way by the time summer comes I’ll be out of the sports bras and into sexy summer dresses! 🙂

At least you’ll have a nice time at Christmas to distract you a bit – I hope you don’t spend all of it stressing out! lol 😉

Have you had the pre-op and stuff already then? Where are you getting it done? I’m so nervous about it all. I keep reading about everything in The Good Boob Bible and as soon as I’ve read it I feel clueless again, I think it’s just nerves and excitement.

I’ve started making a list of all the things I’ll be able to do and buy once I get my BA. Like wear a bikini for the first time, and wearing pretty lace bras… the more I think about it the more I want it for Christmas! Lol.

Awww don’t I’ve been looking at dresses online I can now wear eeeek (sad!).. Not had pre op I was planned for january but my pc rang me and said that the 27th december was free so I’m paying about 2400 and paying the other bit in january and february (the 0% finance over so many months).. I was soooooo happy because I wasn’t expecting it AT ALL :).. So works booked off.. Childcares sorted and 2nd Dec seeing Mr Kazzazi.. Then will be pre op not long after.. And I’m wanting around 385cc unders I’ll be having op at park hill doncaster 🙂 x

That’s brilliant! Yeah, I saw a bra in next the other day – vintage pink silk and I was gutted because by the time I get my op it’ll probably be gone. I’ve always wanted a vintage pink silk bra… 🙁 It’s not sad that you’re looking, I do it all the time – it used to really get me upset, but now I smile and think “I’ll be wearing these soon!” It’s so good. I’m so sick of high neck tops and tshirts. I feel like a boy – and with a chest this flat it’s no wonder. I’m dying to buy some 1950’s style full circle dresses, I’m convinced I’ll spend all my time in them eventually. so tired of jeans and jumpers.

I know how you feel, I can’t stop thinking about it…..so excited but scared too! I’ve wanted it for so long but now I’ve had my children I deffo want to go ahead. My boss is off work at the min, I can’t wait for him to return so I can discuss booking the time off work, I’m hoping then to have my surgery January 17th. Xx
