Am I fake or Just taking pride in the way I look?

I’m 39 with a decent figure, size 8-10, very lucky that I can eat what I like and don’t put on much weight. But I hated my small chest (34a) and always promised myself that before I’m 40 (next March) I would get my boobs done. Which I did on the 13th Sept this year. And loving my new 34DD’s!

I have always taken care of my looks, creams, fake tan, nice nails. I think most ladies do. My next step I want to take is laser eye surgery. Although glasses are more fashionable now days, I would like to wake up in the morning and not have to put my contacts in. I currently have HD eyebrows but want to take the next step and have them semi permanent tatatoo’d; as well as my lips blushed.

Is this a step too far??

I just know the comments I would get from the office, “oh here she comes fake Barbie” (I’m not blonde…brunette!)

Sorry for waffling ladies. Just wondered what you think. Honestly please. Am I being too vain?

no hun, i’ve just turned 34 and i’ve always hated my breast size, so after 3 kids they just disappeared. why not? we only live once, us ladies spend all our time looking after everyone so go for it.

I don’t think that your fake at all ,you are just making the most of what you have.

I think things like having eyebrows tattooed and lips blushed are a good time saving thing, i couldn’t be bothered to use eyebrow pencils and things to get them looking right.

Since my ba i am slowly getting more ‘fake’ now i have my eyesbrows tinted wear fake eyelashes get my nails done…theres nothing wrong with taking pride in your appearance the only thing that matters is if you are happy with how you look.

As for comments ,usually the people that make them are jealous – should people not take care of what they look like just to please them ?? NO

Life’s too short,if you want something done – do it ,don’t think about other people.My bf tells me not to wear my false eyelashes or too much make up and told me i was fake, so i bought bigger lashes and put more make up on and carried on regardless xxx

no, not fake at all… although, i know plenty of people that disagree (jelous i say!) lol. i have the same thing going off…

i’ve always had a good figure… only thing i was unhappy about was my boobs… so i changed them. i have my hair done every 6 weeks, i cleanse, cream and tone twice a day and have my nails done regular… next i want my teeth whitening! im preserving my youth for as long as i can. i got loads of years to be old and “let go” pmsl.

Still, rekon i will be like my granny… at age 88 when being taken into hospital she calls out from the stretcher “charlotte, stick my lippy in my bag will you lovey” lol. I got bought up to take pride in your appearance. some people see that as “tarty or stuck up” or that “your shallow”… pah! do it hun… if you got the money and it’ll make you happy…do it! life is way too short!x

Cali, you have my attitude, “you dont like, I will go bigger”. My bf hates my enhancement to my chest, but has he had to live with clothes not fitting and not feeling whole for 39 years, er no!

I had a best friend who sadly passed away due to Cancer, she always told me “Do what makes you smile, not others. You have one life (or so we think)live it to the max”.

I lost my best friend 6 years ago to cancer, she was 34…she spent far too long worrying about other peoples opinions and always did the right thing to please others….for her it’s too late to live her life the way she wanted to and should have done…do it for yourself, no-one else…she would have loved my boobs and would have been so pleased for me..she was one in a million..x

I think do what makes u happy! if u can enhance ur natural beauty then why not!

one thing i will say tho, as a therapist myself i do see an awful lot of brow tatooing and they do look great initially, but over time they fade and go a funny colour and so my clients still come back and have tinting, so do some research first!

Dont let small talk in office get u down they! theres one reason for it…. Jealousy! Do what makes you happy Girlie and as you said yourself ‘lifes to short’ so live it to the max xxx

Katiekins, thank you. I have done a lot of reasearch and so far one woman keeps coming up in my local area over and over again. I would love Nilam Patel to do them but over 2-3 hrs drive away

Ignore it! According to someone I know, I am all about the fakeness because I apparently wear false eyelashes, fake hair extensions, fake tan and want fake boobs. Firstly, I don’t wear fake eyelashes cos I’m rubbish at putting them on, secondly my hair is all mine, just rather long! And yes I do wear tan cos I don’t like looking like a corpse haha and yes I do want fake boobies but I want natural looking ones because I’m too self conscious about my own!

At the end of the day, it’s usually the case that the people who say these things and are bitter towards you about it are the ones who could try and try and still look like ****. Just rise above it and do what makes you happy x

Hollybol ur so right people r just jelouse it’s hard to take no notice but as hollybol said rise above it if it makes u feel good then do it ! I’m having my ba in feb & a few girls have tried saying a few things like my new boobs will look massive etc but it’s down to jealousy at the end of the day xx

Im 47 and just had my boobs done 6 wks ago. I get stared at when Im out and whispers. Im a size 14/16 and 5ft 2. My boobs were an empty C/D cup so had to fill them with a 685. Im now FF/G. But they look in proportion with my body , just full. I got stared at before so at least now when it happens I know its prob down to jelousey. Who has the right to do that and judge us.

You go girl. Do what you want. Its your body, your life. Im sure you look amazing now, but if you want to enhance your beauty then go for it. Lifes too short to worry what small minded individuals think.
