Am I going too big? Stuck with size please help!

Hey girls
Hoping for a bit of advice, so I had my meeting with dr Traynor last week and before that I hadn’t used this forum so was really unsure on how each cc would roughly measure up in cup size all I knew was that I wanted around DD and I’m currently 34a. Dr Traynor advised for me to go over as the bottom part of my boobs is smaller than the top (below the nip) so going over would help even them out if you know what I mean. Anyways he said from 325-450. The co ordinator had me try the 400, and 450cc on first and straight away to me the 400 didn’t look that big so we decided on the 450cc overs. Since then Ive added myself onto this forum and seen different outcomes you ladies have had, Ive noticed some girls went from 32a and had 350cc and there’s looked fab taking them to DD then some girls had 450cc and are saying they’re barely a D even though both started out as A cups. How is this possible? I’m stressing girls because I really don’t want huge fake boobs but I don’t want to feel disheartened like many Ive seen on here. I know everyone is different but surely a whole 100cc is going to make a big difference? Like I said I want a nice DD that’s not going to look huge on my frame, ultimately I just want to feel confident in buying bras and bikinis and being able to wear low dresses that Ive spent my life avoiding because Ive been so unhappy with my boobs.

I’m currently a 34A/B and want to go to a 34D. Dr. Traynor suggested I go with 400cc and 350cc overs to achieve my size.
I honestly think every girls result will be different depending on what they start with! But having had a look at a lot of pictures I’m happy with my choice and excited to get it done now xx

Hey Jess, it really comes down to so many things. If ur unsure of what the surgeon suggests there is no harm having another consultation with a different surgeon to see what they think you need to successfully achieve what you want.

You may be surprised they give you a similar response or totally different

I stressed I wanted a natural look due to build and I had researched the surgeons available before I had a consultation. When I met my first pc (she left after I booked) she suggested the same surgeon I had my heart set on…Linda Fiumara who specialises in the natural look. There is no harm in seeing as many surgeons as you can and ask questions.

I found realself.com really helpful in judging sizing and edenknowsimplants for advice as well as this forum. I booked six months ago and my op is tomo so I’ve looked at tons of boobs and really familiar with the process. 25cc is the equivalent of a teaspoon or so and a cup size is roughly 150cc. Hope that helps and don’t rush yourself it’s a big decision and an emotional journey. Fx

I liked mr Traynor because he didn’t beat around the bush with anything he’s really matter of fact and says it how it is. So when I said I want a DD he gave me the option between 325-400 but I felt when trying the 400cc implant on it didn’t seem big enough to take me to a DD so my co ordinator went back in to speak to him and he then agreed to go up to a 450cc so in a way I guess I went over what he initially said which is why I’m now worrying on size :/ Ive arranged to go back to the liverpool clinic on Saturday to try implants on again and ask more questions because I’m already booked in for surgery 17th Jan so I suppose I haven’t got a lot of time to decide, I’m so indecisive at the best of times and I think it just threw me a little after seeing girls on here have amazing outcomes of the size I want with 350cc’s xx

I would say to have anther consultation with another surgeon too.
I was first offered between 295-325cc under and i felt it was a bit small.

At my next consultation (Not with mya) i was the offered 330-360cc overs.

Everyones results are different as we are all different shapes and sizes… I was worried about it too.. would i be too big or too small and now I’m stuck as to which to go with.
It also depends if your having overs or under xxx

Thing is I have already put £1000 deposit down with mya and booked the 17th Jan and arranged time off work etc. I’m having overs because he said it’s not possible for me to go under the muscle. I think I’ll ask about speaking with the surgeon again at my apt with my pc on Saturday. It’s such a tough decision isn’t it! Xx

I know, i was quite shocked. Im going to have mine over as i know my muscles are very tight from doing so much sport and I’m worried they may look smaller, and that i might have a longer recovery.
Its such a pain… especially when you’ve got about a month to go cause it makes you rethink a few things and question everything.
Its always good to double check and reassure yourself.
Ive been doing it myself the last week and its driving me mad. Now i can’t decide which size to go with or anything so I’m trying to get my head around it all as I’m booking mine last minute xxx

I also asked to be a d -dd cup. I’m now nearly 9 weekspost op and measuring a 32f -ff!, … I’m guessing fake boobs measure different to real boobs, as I don’t look really huge……..but was shocked when told measuring an f cup!

Don’t look at other girls and think they’re too small for you or too big for you. Every girl is different. Size and cleavage will be different. Don’t get your hopes up or they’ll be crushed if you feel you don’t look the same. It depends on your height and body. Girls who are petite with a small back have bigger looking assets. Honestly don’t think you’ll be what the next 400-450 girl is. I’m 400 and I looked at girls 400’s before my op and some are bigger and some are smaller. You can get a taster but they won’t be identical. X

A lot of girls want a DD and get an E or an F sometimes FF.
implants are different.

Oh and there’s no such thing as ‘too big’. I went to the biggest I could.

Hi Jess, I had Dr Traynor too and he offered me 400,425 and 450 as I told him I wanted to get to a DD from a small 34B. I’m a size 10 but Ive got a wide rib cage and big shoulders and 5ft 10. He said that I shouldn’t have any smaller because there wouldn’t be any point giving me ‘small’ implants (for my size). I’m 9 weeks post op and wearing 32F /34E bras.
It really does depend on what your stats and shape is like now as to what size you will achieve.
My thoughts whilst I was recovering was the cup size doesn’t matter to me because if I ended up as a C or whatever it was still better than what I had before so keep to keep an open mind through the whole process, it seems like you have the same thoughts that I did before, now I’m much more confident in dresses and overall
There was a “pop quiz” type post on here that I saw and at the end of the post the last question was what advice would you give to future patients and almost everyone said go for the biggest size they offer. I suppose that way you can’t feel like you regret not going big enough

Everyone keeps saying go for the biggest, and I guess I didn’t really take into account back size etc. Can’t wait to try them back on again Saturday with my pc. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should be asking when I see my pc because when I had my pre op with the nurse we didn’t really go in to much. Also do you girls know if I’ll have another apt booked to see the surgeon before the op date or is that it now unless I ask to see him? Xx

Probably that’s it now until you go see him. I had 450cc and wish I could’ve gone bigger lol. That was the biggest I was allowed though. I had a look at ur stats not tht I’m a specialist or anything but I reckon 450cc that under offered sounds about right for ur weight and height to get D/DD.

Oh also @jess-x if u want to see ur surgeon again just request another appointment. I saw mine a week before my op as I realised I hadn’t asked wht profile I was getting. I also took along a few bras because she doesn’t like macoms.

I saw her a total 3 times because she had told me I needed a mini uplift at the first appointment, I booked it all anyway but then had reservations about the uplift (after telling some mates who were up in arms and made me feel stupid) saw her the second time to get more info about what the uplift involved plus I asked to be upped to 325cc (she had previously offered 275/300)

The third to discuss my profile but she didn’t go into detail just said work it out on the day. Ended up with mod + which is what I wanted.

The process has taken 6months for me from calling up to having the op! But if u have any questions just get another appointment with ur surgeon honestly to put ur mind at rest ans have total confidence in ur decision to trust ur doing the right thing for u. Fx

I think you’ve just got to go with what feels right for you. I didn’t go for the biggest option I was offered (which was 450 – I’m just shy of 5’9″ and 10 stone) and on Day 1 I already think I’ve made the right choice. I saw a lot of 450s that looked very big to me and whilst I wanted to have great boobs I didn’t want people to be able to look at me and say without question I’d had a boob job. Eventually I went for the 425 – that way I figured I wouldn’t kick myself for not choosing the biggest or going smaller as it was in the middle of what I was offered.

It’s totally personal though!!

I’m thinking 425 I keep thinking I want them big but don’t want them to sag so much and initially he did only offer me 400 so that makes me have even more doubts.. @fran32 im so glad it went well babe I’m so excited now! I think I’ll ask my pc tomorrow to arrange another apt with Traynor because I don’t know what profile he suggested either! God I wish I was on this forum before I had that apt because all the advice from everyone on here has been a god send! X

I deliberated over size really obsessively in the run up to my op and then when I woke up the day of my surgery I just knew what I wanted and it was like the other options just didn’t appeal to me at all anymore. If Mr Traynor hasn’t discussed profile he will mean HP as he prefer HP to everything else. Have a look on real self at people with your stats – ultimately though my advice would be don’t go off pics and go off sizers. Doesn’t matter what a cc looks like on someone else. All that matters is how it’s going to look on you xx

@jess-x all the best for today hun! When trying the sizers on it may help to take some pics and discuss the pros and cons to whatever profile(s) Dr Traynor is offering you! It may help to wear a tighter fitting top with a scoop neck, so you can see exactly how they will look. I was a doughnut and always wore a shirt at my consultations because I was often rushing from work! Fx

Hey hun i know where ur coming from! I decided on 400cc partials in the end as i wanted a DD outcome. Alot of girls say go for the biggest as 25cc is literally a teaspoon. Go back to your clinic and try on the sizes again thats what i did,just to put my mind at rest. I was a small 32b prior. getting strapping removed this morning and im worried they look huge! Maybe its because im not used to having anything lol il upload pics later xx

Hey girls so today went well I’m so glad I went back to try sizers on again! Took loads of photos and there was literally nothing in the difference between 425 and 450’s so Ive gone for the 450! My pc has said they’ve ordered 400, 425, and 450’s for on the day! She said he put high profiles which I’m happy about! I asked loadssss of questions! Didn’t realise mr Traynor doesn’t use strapping! I asked her what the pros and cons were to not having it but she didn’t say much to be honest she said it’s more useful for if you were going under the muscle which I’m not. I’m thinking of ordering maybe just one macom and then getting a few sports bras from m&s? Any suggestions? @sam87 how did today go? Are you pleased? You will have to get some photos up soon! Thanks @fran32 I took so many photos which helped me make my decision and stupid me wore a baggy jumper haha luckily they had tight vest tops there for me to try with them! I can’t wait to say goodbye to my bee stings now! X

Loved having my first proper hair wash and shower ! Still in a bit of shock with boobs haha feel like they r massive but am pleased and im sure after a couple of weeks il love them once used to them and they have healed… iv uploaded pics finally on profile 🙂 xx

Hi Jess, I’m 8 days post op today!
I have allwAys worn a 34b bra (until I found out I’m a 31 so32b).
My boobs before were tiny and I have spent the last two months looking at posts for hours on end. Honestly I found that there is no achievement in it as yours will look totally different to how you thought that they would look from everyone else’s pictures.
I was a 34b and after having two kids they were so empty so my surgeon recommended 400cc under muscle.
There are benefits under the muscle such as skin sags but muscle Dosent but then the pain lost off differs in different people for me it has been really painful and day eight I feel almost normal now so that’s a good thing.
I’m just trying to get used to the weight as I’m only 7 and a half stone and thin so 400cc on me is doing my back in a tad.
I think under skin is great if you want a fake look which I do like but as they will be in for a while I’m 27 now with two kids so don’t want to be doing the school run in the summers at 40 with melons under my neck so I have the basic round ones but under and you can’t really tell mine are fake (well that much).
One thing i I will say is haggle. I had my consultation two months ago which I was told in London it would be £5000
I literally said no went home emailed a few times as I didn’t have that much money and got an email back saying that my surgery would be £4,100 at a discount plus day case. So they is a haggle there. I will try to upload my before and after with this. Good luck you will love them X X X

Thanks girls all your pictures look amazing you must be so happy with the results so far! I didn’t think the 450 looked big on me at all but I know it would be silly even contemplating wanting any bigger because I don’t want them to look really ‘fake’ and Traynor did say originally up to 400 but then changed to 450. @sam87 how did it feel being back at work? Ive managed to get 4weeks off work after my op, which I’m sure I will definitely need as I’m a nurse on a really heavy ward. I didn’t get the option to go under the muscle cara because he said my boobs were a little tubular so they wouldn’t look even if he went under, I’m worried about sagging as I know 450 is quite heavy but I’m pretty active, no kids so hopefully I’ll be ok. Can’t believe you managed to get such a good discount! I don’t think many girls would have even thought to do that! I suppose in a way I’m getting money off as when I originally booked it was for a day case but then they phoned afterwards and told me the morning was booked up so because I would be an afternoon surgery I would have to stay overnight, but they didn’t charge me extra for an overnight stay as we had already spoken about price and booked the date etc. I can’t wait now it will soon come around, I think I go to bed every night dreaming of my new boobs! Haha x

I know well it was a nightmare for me as I dreamt of thee worst things that could happen and lots of dreams regarding odd boobs! I petrified myslef.
I know well 7 of my friends have had Ba and every single one of them have asked for a discount so thought why not X

Hey Jess i had 1 week off of work and that was fine could have gone back after 4 days if i wanted! 1 week for me was just right… im a dental nurse so i do use my arms a fair bit but wasnt struggling.. only thing i cant do is lift heavy boxes really. I was lucky i had a good recovery no bruising or blisters etc and was off painkillers 2DPO lol xx
