Another newbie…

Hey, been looking around here for a while but have finally decided to start looking into having implants properly. Not sure where to start tho, would love to go for a consulation but in the process of losing weight and worried about finance. I have decided to wait untill am at my goal weight before having surgery so looking to be in the new year but what do i do about finance? Do i book a consultation whether i have the money now or not? What have you done?

Hello welcome to the forum You can have a consultation whenever its free and I booked my date after my visit with my surgeon, so you could even book it for next year if you want I think.

The consultations just discussing things with you and to try and see what you are aiming for, they will discuss finance with you and things like that

I think you are right to wait until you are your ideal weight because i was warned that you can get rippling in the implant if you loose too much weight after. Its a lot of money for you not to be happy later on if it happens. When it comes to booking your consultation do it whenever you are ready, it does deppend on how long it will take you to raise the money if your self funding. If your going finance theres nothing holding you back. But like I say when you are ready. My PC was really nice and went through it all she didn’t try to push me into anything her words “its a big decision and it has to be yours, you need to be sure”.

hay im going to have to wait till nxt year for my ba as i cant get finance!!! so im gona keep a good eye on my back account for few months then apply for loan with my bank….i went crazy tryn to get loan and ive fu.k my credit rating! so im thinking august for my ba……i want it now tho lol!!! xx
