how long before your op do you have to stop taking antibiotics?

you have to finish the entire box, i believe they give you 7 days worth!! make sure you take them all, you can stop taking painkillers whenever you feel ready but not the antibiotics xx

no no what i mean is that iv been given some now as i have a water infection! is there a time like for example 2 weeks befre your op , that you cant take any?xx

sorry NJRX i miss read your post, i would definetly check with the nurse at your clinic for before the operation, usually its asprin based drugs you can’t take! but phone them and they will give you the correct answer x

yep your totally right 2 weeks before , nurse called me back earlier xx

I take one anti biotic every day for last year for recurrent water infections. I had my op today and no problems at all. Just mention to pc xx
